The Real Sanders: Hey Y/n, can you come over and take care of Virgil? He's been throwing up all night and has a fever.

You: Why do you need me?

The Real Sanders: Me, Roman, Patton, and Logan have to do some running around and I don't want to leave him by himself. I'll pick up your favorite drink!

You: Fine. Let me put on some clothes and I'll be over.

You got up off your couch after texting Thomas and decided to just wear a black tshirt, gray sweatpants, and black converse before grabbing some essentials and your purse and heading out the door. Luckily you lived like 10 minutes from Thomas's house. Today you were taking care of Virgil for Thomas and you knew he would be stubborn but you liked him.

Once you arrived, Thomas ran out with the others who all hugged you before getting in the car and leaving. You rolled your eyes and walked up the stairs to find Virgil. He looked up and his eyes widened before he ran to the bathroom and threw up. You walked over and placed a hand on his back. He was only in a black pair of shorts. An unusual outfit for him. As he began to stop throwing up, you took a cold washcloth and dabbed it over his face.

"Have you kept anything down?" You asked as he shook his head. You felt how hot he was. "Let me grab you an ice Sprite and maybe fix something easier than what Logan fixed you. He's okay but I know what really sits well."

You began to leave and when you looked back, he was climbing into bed pitifully. You felt your heart ache for him before you walked out. As you walked into the kitchen, you began to fix your favorite soup that helped when you were sick. You fixed a glass of ice and poured some Sprite. As the soup finished, you made a tablemat to take upstairs.

Virgil was under the covers coughing before looking up at you. You sat the table mat down before handing him the glass of Sprite. He took small sips before laying back.

"I have some of my special soup when you're ready. It needs to cool anyways." You said as he looked over to you. You noticed just how much more pale Virgil was. You got up to get him a cold rag and when you got back, he was looking at you. As you placed the cold rag on his forehead, he took your hand and held it.

"Virgil?" You questioned as he smiled slightly at you.

"Thank you Y/n." He croaked. Your heart cried out at him since he was hurting. "Can I try some of that soup now?"

"Sure. Let me help you up." You said while helping him sit up. You had one hand on his bare back and the other on his upper arm. Once he sat up, you handed him the soup. As he began to hack, you pulled the soup away. "Maybe I should help?"

"Please." He croaked as you felt his pitiful soul. Poor Virgil. You blew on the soup and let him eat from it. "This actually tastes really good."

"It's a vegetable and chicken soup. I figured the chicken noodle soup didn't sit well because of the noodles." You said as he nodded his head. He took a sip from the spoon before sighing in relief. You continued to feed him as he ate every bit.

You pulled the bowl away as he began to lay back down. Just as you were going to leave him, his hands grabbed your wrist.

"Don't leave." He croaked as you sighed.

"Fine I'll sit over in the beanbag chair." You said as he didn't let you go but slid over. "I'll get sick!"

"Don't worry. I feel better from that soup." He said as you rolled your eyes but layed down beside him. You felt his warm chest pressing against your black tshirt. "You look good in black."

"Wh-What?" You exclaimed.

"You look good in black." He said before wrapping an arm around your waist. You felt your face flush red before you hid your face.

"Virgil! I think the fever has gone to your head!" You gasped. He chuckled lowly as he put his head in the crook of your neck.

"I think you're gaining a fever or you could be embarrassed." He said as you blushed more.

"Shut it." You said as you felt him chuckle but you heard deep breathing. He had fallen asleep on your neck. You decided if he was going to sleep on you, you would sleep on him. Just as you were thinking, your eyes drooped.

A few hours later you woke up and Virgil was still asleep. You saw he wasn't holding you anymore so you slid out.

"Why do you have to be so pitiful? My heart can't handle it, I'm too much in love with you." You whispered before grabbing the rag and going to get it cold.

When you came back, you checked his fever which had gone down. You sighed in relief.

"So you're in love with me?" He asked as you jumped.

"Now's my time to leave." You said as you began to walk out.

"Wait Y/n. I'm sorry I overheard you. I'm glad though because I've been in love with you since we met." He said as your eyes widened.

"You've liked me for-"

"2 years 5 months, 3 weeks, 14 days, 6 hours, 45 minutes, and...34 seconds." He said while pondering. "I have timed How much I love you. Go ahead and laugh."

"No I think it's sweet." You said before coming closer to him. You sat across from him which he sat up. Just as you smiled at him, he leaned forward and gave you a passionate kiss. You gasped but kissed back which made him pull you close.

"Now when we said to take care of the sick, we didn't say become his personal nurse." Roman said sarcastically as you both jumped away.

"You're just jealous you don't have Y/n watching after you." Thomas said.

"No! I just don't want this to move on." Roman said as Virgil glared.

"Out." He growled as they both shot out of his room and shut the door. "Where were we?"

"I think we were about to lay back down." You said as you kissed his cheek and pulled you under the covers. His arms wrapped around you as he buried his face in the crook of your neck and you both fell asleep after a few minutes even though the next day you would come down with a slight sickness like Virgil's but he managed to take care of you.
