Patton~ Open Your Heart to Me

A/N: Reader is tsundere. I'm not sure how well I will do but hopefully I do well.

You were one of Thomas's odd friends. You didn't show emotions well and rather not have close friends. Your close friends from back home broke your friendship because you were too emotional. You decided to close yourself off and become cold. You didn't understand why but you just did it. Thomas understood and explained to his other friends so they could understand. So far Thomas and Talyn were your closest.

Thomas made you come over to his place because apparently his personalities have a body now. You thought it was just him dressing up. As he picked you up, he drove down to his house.

"I just don't understand. Y/n I just don't." Thomas said panicked as you placed a hand on his shoulder but didn't say a word. Once Thomas pulled up, all of them ran out while one stayed behind.

"Son and friend!" Thomas with a sweater said. You knew that was Patton. He began to come at you when you took a step away.

"Nope." You grumbled. Patton looked shocked. He tried to hug you once again when you took a step away to the car.

"Hello fair maiden!" You could tell that was Roman.

"Hello Y/n." You could tell that was Logan.

"Hi..." Virgil said as you moved closer to him. Everyone was a little too hyper for your taste. Thomas pushed you inside and glared at the others.

"So you're Y/n?" Patton said as you jumped back. How did he get here.

"Yeah... How did you just- nevermind. Leave me alone." You grumbled. Patton looked hurt you weren't wanting him to talk to you.

Patton

Why didn't she like me? She seems a little harsh like walls were built around her heart. Her morality seems to be broken.

"Thomas, son, why doesn't Y/n like to talk?" I asked as Thomas sighed. "She seems to talk to you."

"She's tsundere." Thomas said. I don't know what that means. "She's cold at first but she warms up later. Y/n has been through a lot. Just be careful."

I nodded my head as my thoughts began to race. How do I get her to open up with me? How did Thomas get her to- I've got it! Find something in common!

Regular POV

You walked over to Thomas and sat with him. He seemed to be watching the next episode of Steven Universe. You layed back while he watched it. Patton plopped beside you.

"What are you guys doing?" He asked happily.

"I'm not doing a thing. Thomas is watching Steven Universe. Why do you want to know?" You said and in your voice, it was noticeable that you were guarded. You kept your eyes on Patton so he didn't hug you.

"I was just wondering because I was going to put in a movie. I've been wanting to see f/c/m (favorite comic movie) for a while." Patton said as you turned your head.

"You haven't seen it yet?" You asked with interest.

"Nope. I've wanted to see it." Patton said as Thomas looked at him with a knowing eye. Thomas knew he was lying.

"I'll be right back." You said as you ran to the bathroom.

"Why are you doing this? You don't like any comic movies." Thomas said. "You like comedy, Disney, and romance."

"I just want to get to know her better. It doesn't hurt to at least try." Patton said as you overhead this conversation. Right before you were about to walk out, someone stopped you. More like Virgil stopped you.

"What do you want?" You growled.

"Look dad guy wants to get to know you better. Let him. He doesn't like comic movies but he's willing to do this for you. I haven't seen that guy actually fall for someone hard like this. He might have fibbed but he wants to know. So either break your walls down like you did with Thomas or walk out and make him worry. " Virgil said with a snap before pushing around you. You realized how much Patton was trying. He reminded you the most like Thomas. Your heart thumped against your chest before you pushed it away. You weren't suppose to feel this way. It's someone you just met!

You walked back into the room and sat down between Thomas and Patton. You noticed how Patton laid back once the movie was put in. You stayed straight up as Patton laid back on the couch. He seemed to relax even if he didn't like this movie. You zoned into the movie before relaxing and into Patton. He grinned quietly as Thomas shook his head to stop him. Patton nodded his head softly so you didn't notice. You ended up falling asleep on him.

You opened your eyes and looked up. Patton had fallen asleep on you. You softly pulled away and brushed yourself off. How could you fall asleep on someone you just freakin met?! You quickly shut your brain down and saw Thomas by the DVD player and turned on Netflix.

"Hey Y/n." He said softly. You smiled at him before you heard movement. You felt your heart quicken as you moved closer to Thomas once he sat down.

"Y/n? Are you okay?" Patton asked before yawning. You huffed and looked away. Thomas nodded his head before stepping out of the room.

"Thomas!" You yelped before Patton turned you to him.

"How do I show you that I won't hurt you? I'm not like the others. Y/n please!" He begged as you flinched. You realized that your walls were broken for him because tears poured from your eyes. "Now I've made you cry. I'm sorry Y/n! I just love you and I want to help!"

"Patton, I made these walls because of what happened in the past. I was called being too emotional. I'm sorry. I wish I could have broken out but I just shut myself away. I want to love you, I do! I'm just scared." You said softly as you noticed he didn't walk away like the other guys. He stayed still and softly hugged you.

"Y/n I will help you. You are not emotional. It's okay to cry. Heck I'm the more emotional one here. The emotional dad!" He said as you smiled softly. "I see a never before seen smile!"

"Oh shut up!" You giggled as Patton smiled and pulled you close to him. He kissed your forehead and then your lips softly. You knew you kissed back almost like a feather afraid to break. Though as soon as you broke, he pulled you closer and held you like a doll.

"Y/n I will help you from now on because you're stuck with me." He said before kissing your temple. You leaned into him and blushed as Thomas watched from afar. He realized his best friend was finally breaking down her walls from the pain in the past as love has healed many wounds today. He smiled to himself and left you two to cuddle and watch movies together.
