Today was your big day. You and Patton have been dating for three years. Thomas figured you would have gotten married within the second year but Patton wanted you to trust in him. You had a gorgeous white lace gown with a diamond hair piece in your hair. You could see yourself spending the rest of your life with him. Thomas's mother and Jay helped with your make up since your mother wasn't around anymore. Jay insisted. Your mom was your rock but today you could feel her smiling down on you.
You were just finishing putting on your makeup when you heard a knock on the door. Jay went to check.
"Patton what are you doing here?" Jay asked as you heard him sigh.
"I just want to make sure Y/n is ready to go." He said softly.
"Quit worrying Patton. I love you." You called out as he sighed happily. Jay pushed him away from the door before Thomas came up.
"How's Y/n?" Thomas asked as he walked in. "You look beautiful!"
"Thank you Thomas!" You gasped as he smiled. He was in a sharp gray tuxedo. Your father came in shortly to grab your arm.
As you watched your bridesmaids walk down the aisle, you felt your heart quicken. You would be spending your whole life with Patton. You smiled and saw Patton down the aisle. You felt tears prick in your eyes and the good thing you were wearing waterproof or you would have been a mess. While your father had a hold of you, you saw Thomas whisper to Patton who was watching your dreamily. You blushed as he took your hand from your father.
"Thank you for giving your daughter to me." Patton said as your father nodded his head. The priest came up and asked for you two to join hands. While he was talking, you could tell there wouldn't be a dry eye in the room. You heard sniffles and you could see the groomsmen with tears in their eyes. You even had dogs as your flower girl and ring barer.
"I believe while you two read your speeches, I will bind your hands with vines to represent you 'tying the knot'." The priest said. "Ms. L/n soon to be Sanders, will you read yours first?"
You sighed aloud and looked at Patton's eyes. They were filled with love, hope, and kindness to you.
"Patton I remember the day you confessed your love to me. It was on Valentine's Day with your gorgeous artwork." People chuckled as he blushed. "But that day you began to tease me about being the mom. Who knew it would happen. I love you through your pouty nature when you're sick, your goofy laughter, your silly puns that always know how to make me laugh. I promise to care for you and love you through the good and bad. I hope you do the same. I love you."
The priest gestured to Patton as he was putting the second vine on your wrists.
"Y/n I remember when we first met. You came over to hang out with Thomas since he was frightened that his personalities had a body. Your bright e/c eyes were as beautiful as the sky, your gorgeous laughter when Thomas told you jokes, and when you took my hand, I felt my heart quicken." You heard soft awes. "Y/n when you came home crying because your mother had passed. That was the day I knew I was going to protect you and love you through thick and thin. You wonder why I did not move from your grip? Because I had to keep you safe and make you smile because when you cry, I want to cry! Y/n I love you forever and always till the end."
"Now that we have heard their vows. Do you Patton Sanders take Y/n L/n to be your lawfully wedded wife?" The priest asked.
"I do." Patton said as you smiled.
"Do you Y/n L/n take Patton Sanders to be your lawfully wedded husband?" The priest asked.
"I do." You said softly.
"You may now-" He was cut off as Patton kissed you softly. You melted into the kiss and held back. You felt him shake in your arms as you knew he was happy.
Just as you broke, you guys took each other's hands and ran off to the reception. Once you guys came in, everyone came up and hugged you guys. You both were blushing as the first dance began.
I've been a walking heartache
I've made a mess of me
The person that I've been lately
Ain't who I wanna beBut you stay here right beside me
And watch as the storm blows through
And I need youPatton spun you in his arms and kissed you gently before making you sway in his arms.
Cause God gave me you for the ups and downs
God gave me you for the days of doubt
And for when I think I lost my way
There are no words here left to say, it's true
God gave me you
Gave me youThere's more here than what we're seeing
A divine conspiracy
That you, an angel lovely
Could somehow fall for me
You'll always be love's great martyr
And I'll be the flattered fool
And I need you
Yeah!God gave me you for the ups and downs
God gave me you for the days of doubt
And for when I think I lost my way
There are no words here left to say, it's true
God gave me youOn my own I'm only
Half of what I could be
I can't do without you
We are stitched together
And what love has tethered
I pray we never undoCause God gave me you for the ups and downs
God gave me you for the days of doubt
God gave me you for the ups and downs
God gave me you for the days of doubt
And for when I think I lost my way
There are no words here left to say, it's true
God gave me you, gave me you
He gave me youAt this point, Patton dipped you and pulled you close in his arms before you guys shared another kiss. You both were smiling like idiots in the end. The rest of the Sanders gave toasts to you and once you finished the wedding, Patton said you two were going to England for a week. When you got on your honeymoon, Patton treated you as a queen and a wonderful wife while you guys had fun and laughter in England.
