Thomas~ Heart Under Lock and Key

A/n: Reader is shy and had some tsundere qualities.

Have you ever been betrayed so much that you built thick walls around you? Well actually you have! Your father decided to have an affair with your mother which broke her heart. She cried at night and felt horrible for weeks. When you saw this, the father that was suppose to stick with your mother and love her betray her. It broke your heart. From that day in 7th grade, you swore off love.

Now that you have graduated college, you've dated some people but they have never broken your walls down. Your two closest friends Isabella and Roger broke your walls after a year. They ended up helping you become a little open but you were what they call shy.

Today you decided to go down to Florida for a trip with your friends to Disney. You bought a ticket and received two tickets extra tickets for your friends. It was unbelievable. Disney was the one thing that was always there for you. Once you guys got in the gate, you pulled your car around so you could start your adventure at Magic Kingdom.

You entered the gate giggling at Roger and Isabella who were jumping up and down. Isabella bought herself Mickey ears before taking off towards Fantasyland. She's been wanting to go on the mine ride from the Seven Dwarfs. You and Roger chased after her and finally got in line with her before you guys waited.

After the long wait for the ride, you got up to the top. The director said that it was two to a ride. Isabella grabbed Roger as you were left there.

"This young man needs someone to ride with." The director said as you looked up. He was very attractive but you decided to roll with it.

"Have you been on this ride before?" The guy asked as you continued to look forward. "Not much of a talker. I'm Thomas Sanders."

"Y/n L/n." You said as he smiled brightly.

"Well I'm glad I get to sit with someone just as beautiful as you." He said as you blushed. "Hope you don't mind some screams?"

"It's fine. I will probably scream." You said softly as Thomas turned his head.

"Are you shy?" He asked as you continued to look forward. "Or tsundere?"

"Both. I don't know how to express myself ever since I was betrayed." You said as he looked confused by it. You sighed and the machine went click. The ride was beginning and you could see Isabella up front with Roger holding hands. I wonder when they were going to tell you they were dating. You giggled a little.

"You should laugh more. It's cute." Thomas said as you blushed and looked away before the ride took a large hill. You began to scream at the small drop as Thomas did too. You both laughed at how you both screamed over it. The ride continued as you two acted silly with each other. When the ride was over, you began to catch up with Isabella and Roger before a hand grabbed yours.

"Y/n can I talk to you again?" He asked as you softly nodded your head. You gave your number to him and ran after your friends.

What you did not expect was Thomas to continuously work on breaking down your walls. He was stubborn. But in a way, you liked it. You were smiling for it. If he was willing to do so, maybe you could let him in.

Thomas: Hey Y/n, want to join me for icecream?

Y/n: Sure what time do you want to meet?

Thomas: How about in the next hour?

Y/n: Sure!

You looked at the time and began to get ready as time was ticking. You decided to go ahead and go out. You ended up getting there 10 minutes early.

Those 10 minutes passed by and Thomas still wasn't there. He didn't show up. You were hoping on a small bit of hope but began to pack up before the door jingled.

"WAIT! Y/n I'm here! I got caught up with fans. I'm sorry." He said as you smiled at him.

"You made it just in time." You said as you two went to go sit down. Thomas got you your favorite flavor as he got chocolate. You two were giggling and telling each other jokes that you didn't realize how open you became.

"Thomas I know you don't realize it but I've become so open to you. You actually make me not afraid." You said as Thomas smiled softly.

"You have something on your face." He said as you looked confused and began to clean your cheek. "You missed."

He leaned over the table and kissed your cheek before backing away. Once you got over the shock, you leaned over and kissed him full on the lips. His eyes widened as he kissed back.

"You missed too." You said as he chuckled and you guys sat with your ice cream. Isabella and Roger made sure that he knew that if he broke your heart, he would go missing since Isabella was a chemistry major and Roger was a metalsmith who made knives. You had some strange friends... Almost strange as your boyfriend who loved you and made you laugh even during your darkest time. Thomas broke down your walls when others had trouble and you realized that you could love again as long as it was him.
