Chapter Nine

Even on the way to home I keep on thinking. So I asked Louisse bakit ganon si Landon. She said Landon is kinda bipolar sometimes he's being so so weird.

The girls are asking me hang out go to the mall but I received a text message from my Mom.

Mama:
After school go home immediately

Kaya naman hindi na ako naka sama sakanila akala nila nagana nanaman pagiging kill joy ko ayaw pa nila maniwala nong una na pinapauwi na ako.

Pagka dating namin sa bahay nagtaka ako kaagad dahil naka box na yong ibang gamit may mga maleta na din.

"What's happening?" Tanong ko kay Mama na kasalukuyang nag liligpit pa ng mga gamit.

"Ayusin mo na din mga gamit mo." Utos nya saakin sabay pasok sa kwarto nya.

I just nodded my head and headed to my room. Nagpalit muna ako ng casual na damit ko bago nag ligpit ng mga gamit. Hindi ko pa madadala lahat ngayon tanging mga nagagamit ko lang ang niligpit ko tsaka nalang yong iba.

Tinulungam ako ni Ate Mayleen at Kuya Tope para mag buhat ng mga gamit ko papunta sa saksakyan.

"Bukas papakuha ko nalang kila Mayleen ang iba pang mga gamit." Sabi lang ni Mama.

Sumakay na ako sa sasakyan ganon din si Mama. Nang nasa loob na kami may katext lang sya kaya hindi na muna ako nagtanong pa.

Nagsuot lang ako ng earphone at nakinig sa music habang naka tanaw lang sa daan.

Napansin ko nalang papasok na kami sa village. Hindi naman ako pamilyar sa lugar noon may bahay kami na mas malaki nong buo pa ang pamilya namin dito sa QC nong nag annul sila Mama at Daddy sa Laguna na kami nagstay ni Mama hanggang sa namatay si Daddy Lo.

"Where are we?" Tinanong ko si Mama.

"It's your Dad's house." I just raised my brow. Bakit naman kami magsstay sa bahay ni Daddy.

Habang papalapit kami sa bahay nakita kong naka tayo sa labas ng gate si Daddy nag aabang siguro saamin.

Kahit na nag hiwalay sila maayos naman kami nakaka usap ko si Daddy ganon din si Mama although nong una talagang hindi nag aaway sila palagi.

Pagka baba namin sa sasakyan humalik lang ako sa pisnge ni Daddy.

"My baby is now a lady." Natutuwang puna saakin ni Daddy mas matangkad na kasi ako ng kaonti kay Mama.

Nang lumabas na si Mama sa kotse, I was so stunned when Daddy gives Mama a peck on her lips.

Are they back together?

They noticed siguro na nagtataka ako sa panakita nilang gestures tumabi lang si Mama kay Daddy habang nasa bewang ni Mama ang kamay ni Daddy.

"So?" I asked them.

"We got married again before you transferred here. Hindi lang namin na sabi sayo kasi busy kami parehas nasa business trip ang Daddy mo." Sabi ni Mama.

"For real?!" Halata yong saya sa boses ko tumango lang sila.

Kaya naman lumapit ako sa kanila sabay yakap. After twelve years nagkabalikan na din sila.

"How about yong anak mo Dad?" I asked him. I remembered when he introduced me to a kid when I was still young.

"Ahh." Nagkatinginan muna si Daddy at Mama.

"Uhm she'll be staying with us." Sabi ni Mama. I just nodded i'm not against nor hate my little sister.

Naawa nga ako dahil sabi ni Daddy pagkakamali lang daw si Alexa. He didn't have an affair with other women they just fell out love and his secretary seduced him.

When we entered the house it was all new. My Dad said that he bought a new house to start our new life and new family.

Daddy guides me to my room. It was a combination of white and pastel yellow because our house is a combination of white, gold and wooden brown- I think Mama decided for this.

There's also human size mirror although I prefer the vanity mirror. My bed is a queen size there's a white and gold table cabinet beside it. My mouth formed 'o' when I saw a mini walk in closet.

"Do you like your new room?" He asked. I just nodded and roam my eyes to the whole room.

The maids arrived at my room para ibigay yong mga luggages ko. They helped me to fix mu things and to put my clothes to the walk im closet.

After fixing everything Mama called me for dinner. It was already past 9 I was thinking twice if I should go downstairs to eat because I don't eat during dinner time.

But this is our first family meal after my Dad and Mama got together, also with my little sister I hope we become close I'm just 3 years older than her it would be nice if we became bestfriends.

Eversince I was a kid I always wanted to have a younger sibling a prefer girl so we could talk and we have similarities compared to boy. I thought I wouldn't have a chance to have one because my Mom and Dad broke up but I have Alexa now.

When I arrived at the kitchen my Dad was sitting already with Alexa they were talking about something.

"Alexa you likes fruits?" My Mom asked her she just nodded and my Mom smiled at her.

It's was really a relief that they're close kasi hindi lahat ng asawa kayang tanggapin at ituring nang parang tunay na anak ang anak nang asawa nila sa iba.

My Dad notice my appearance.

"We're about to eat dinner sit beside, Alexa?" My Dad offer the seat beside Alexa so I just follow and seat there.

I smiled at Alexa and she did the same but she looks so awkward.

My Dad's phone rang so he excused him self so it was only me and Alexa who remained at the table because my Mom was helping to cook.

So I take this chance to talk with Alexa.

"You're Alexa right?" I asked her. She nodded then drink some water after. She wasn't comfortable talking with me.

"I'm Camryn, uhm you can just call me Ate though if you don't mind." I think she was shocked after I said that, she became quiet she maybe doesn't know what to say.

I chuckled. "I know were not close yet, but I hope we become close as the time past by." She was still silent. I don't really know what to say.

"Are you awkward with me." She nodded her head.

"Just think na matagal na tayong magkakilala, this is making me uncomfortable I don't really know how to approach people so I'm trying my best."

All she did was nodding. I just smile a bit feeling awkward too.

Luckily my Dad arrived and also my Mom so we started eating. We just talk about some stuff about school something like that.

Alexa and I were studying at the different school my Dad didn't do anything at all he also asked the both of us that we should get along my Mom also agreed.

I suggest that we should go outing on Christmas so we can bond. I'll try to do some first move with Alexa.
