*Sonic Temple Tour 1987* DanielleUpchurch hope you enjoy it.
Dani knew what she was signing up for when she started dating Ian  Astbury from the Cult. She always missed him. Even if he was just at Tue studio, she missed him, but Dani missed him even more when the band went on tour. Something bothered her about him being a famous musician. The women who threw themselves at him wasn't what bothered her. She trusted him in that regard. What really bothered her was Ian being gone all the time. The band had just finished the album, Sonic Temple and left for tour to support it. Today marked six months since Ian and the boys left. Ian usually called Dani every night just to check in and to let her know he loves her. Tonight was different though. Ian didn't call at six like he had the past three days. Dani thought nothing of it and continued making dinner.  When she finished dinner, Ian still hadn't called. It was getting closer and closer to the time Dani went to bed every night. Nine o'clock rolled around and still no call. "What the fuck, Ian? When you finally call you better have a good excuse." She mumbled to herself. This wasn't like him at all. A knock at the door snapped her out of her thoughts. Without looking through the peephole, Dani threw the door open and started to cry. "Hey baby, miss me?" Ian smiled, opening his arms for a hug. Dani threw herself into him, dragging him into the house at the same time.  The shock of seeing Ian made her cry even harder. Dani was surprised that Ian was back. "Of course I did. I ought to kill you for not calling. You had me worried sick." In all honesty, she was relieved to have the only man she loves in her arms and to be squeezing him tightly. "You didn't have to worry. Matt takes care of me and the rest of us. Don't worry anymore about me." "Fat chance that will happen." "Sweetheart, you worry too much. Let's just enjoy me and you being together and enjoying the wonderful slop they call TV." Ian slung his arm around Dani's shoulders, so her head rested on his chest. That's how they fell asleep, watching cartoons. Ian learned a valuable lesson. Call home even if he was coming home.
