Navy was excited for today. Kimber, who is the daughter of Rick Savage. "Navy! Get your little butt back here. We need to get you dressed so we can go see grandpa." "Grandpa! Where's grandpa!?" Navy bounced up and down. "You won't be going to see grandpa if you don't get dressed." Navy ran into her room and threw some clothes on. "Let's go mom." The child pulled her mother out of the door and to their car. They drove to O2 Arena and headed to the backstage area. They hung out with her father and his band mates until it was time for the boys to go onstage. Before they started playing "Have You Ever Needed Someone So Bad", Rick asked for his daughter and granddaughter onto the stage. Kimber held tightly to her daughter's hand as they walked onto the stage. "Meet my daughter Kimber and her little girl Navy. Now Navy, tell Grandpa what you want to be when you grow up." He picked her up and she squealed. "I want to be a bass player like you grandpa." Rick smiled and hugged the child tight. The crowd roared as Kimber and Navy walked back off stage. The boys finished a great show and  Rick really wanted to talk to Navy but the little girl fell asleep before he could ask. "Hey kiddo, I wanted to know if you know why Navy wants to be a bass player?" "Because she looks up to you and wants to make you proud." "But she'll make me proud no matter what she does." "I know dad. She'll grow out of it in a couple years. We should probably get going. I have to work in the morning." "Okay have a safe trip home. Love you." "Love you too dad." Rick carried Navy to the car and watched as they left. He enjoyed their visit and relished in the fact that his granddaughter wants to be like him.
