Eddie POV

I woke up due to the brightness of the sun beaming down on me through the blue curtains of my bedroom.

Wait. My bedroom. What happened? Last time I remember, I was at school then-

I was cut from my thoughts when my mother walked in.

"Feeling better, Eddie-bear?" Ugh. I hated that nickname. I cringed whenever I heard her call me that.

"What happened?" I asked, pretending to not know.

"Anyways, hurry along and take your pills will you?" She replied, completely ignoring my question and walking out of my room.

Bitch.

I swallowed my pills then set the half empty glass of water back onto my night stand and noticed my inhaler. I haven't used it in awhile, but I really needed to that day. What day was it? How long have I been asleep? What happened after Will and Mike hugged me? Did they notice my lack of oxygen? Who knows.

I checked my phone and it was Wednesday at 6:45am. I guess I'm going to school after all.

I quickly got ready and rode my bike down towards the school. After making it inside, I noticed that I was getting many stares from people I didn't even know.

I heard a few whispering so I ducked my head down looking at my feet, still walking to my locker. Apon opening it, I felt a hand on my shoulder, which belonged to Bill.

"A-are you o-okay?" He stuttered.

"Yeah, what even happened?" His eyes widened a bit. Right as he opened his mouth to say something, the first period bell cut him off.

"S-sorry, I'll see you at lunch? Okay?" He said apologetically.

"Yeah, cya." I closed my locker and started to head to my first class.

I sat down in my usual seat when I noticed Richie sitting in a desk father away from me. I still wanted to be his friend, but after what he had told me, I wouldn't know how to approach him.

"MR. KASPBRAK. CARE TO JOIN THE CLASS NOW?" He screeched causing me to flinch when I was caught staring at Richie.

"Y-yes, sir." I said with a slight blush creeping across my cheeks from embarrassment. 

Time lapse~Lunch

I was the first one to arrive to our seat, and took out a BLT and juice box from my lunch bag. I took a bite out of my sandwich when the others approached.

"Hey." Mike greeted. I waved my hand considering that my mouth was full. They made small talk while I kept munching on my food, making Stanley nudge my shoulder.

"Hey, you okay? You haven't been talking much." I swallowed my food.

"Yeah, sorry. I'm really hungry, I forgot to eat breakfast. Wouldn't want to be talking with my mouth full." I said.
Lies.

"Alright." He responded and went back to talking. I noticed Richie with that other group again, he seemed to be enjoying himself. He looked over at me and quickly broke eye contact causing him to blush madly.

Richie POV

When I saw Eddie staring at me, both now and in English, I couldn't help myself but glow red. Especially not after confessing my love for him.
What if I don't even like him? What if I liked girls? And maybe this was just a phase? Right?

"Richie, you okay?" Asked Ben.

"Yeah, I was just... thinking.."

"About What?" Max asked, joining the conversation.

"Mind your own business." I said, making her scoff.

What I really needed to know, was how to get Eddie off of my mind. I already know that he doesn't feel the same way, due to his reaction.

I looked around the cafeteria and spotted something that might work. I stood up, leaving my tray and began to walk to their table. My group gave me confused looks but shrugged it off.

I finally made it over to their table, causing everyone to look at me. Eddie was right in front of me, but I didn't care. Hell if I did. This was going to distract him from me.

I noticed Eddie with a confused look slapped on his face, redness tinting his cheeks. "Hey Mike, can I borrow you for a sec?"

Oooooh what do you think Richie wants with Mike? (Just to clarify this is Mike Wheeler and not Hanlon, cuz why would Hanlon be sitting beside Eddie?) Also sorry I feel as if my chapters aren't very long but I will try my best to make them longer. Wait also whoops sorry I couldn't find or make a picture for the top but I do have one ready for the next chapter. Thank you so much for reading to this point and yeah, that's all I gotta say soo
