Chapter 16

An: sorry for not updating for so long. I have been busy I guess. School and other shit. I finally got my phone back for a little today (Its my birthday!) So I FINALLY updated. Again, sorry for the long wait. I'll try not to take such a long break.

(Colby POV)

Sam had fallen asleep ages ago, but I was a different story. The clock on the wall next to me ticked every second and I stared at the ceiling, bored.

I wanted to go on my phone, scroll through Twitter. But we had no data, no wifi, and no service out here. If it were the day, that would be no problem. But it's 4 am. And I am bored. And I can't sleep.

We do have a tv with cable. I haven't watched actual tv in so long.

I slowly got out of the bed and walked down the hall slowly so I didn't make to much noise walking by Heath's room.

The living room was dark and kitchen behind it was darker. I grabbed the remote and sat in the big round chair thing. I turned it on and scrolled through channels.

I found a show called Impractical Jokers where four friends do things with each other and try to embarrass each other, it was funny.

Then I started to doze off.

"Hey sleepy boy, get up!" Someone said while shaking me.

"Mmm, what?" I asked rubbing my eyes and sitting up.

I looked over to see Sam out on the deck, while Elton was in front of me laughing. Heath I could hear in the kitchen.

"Do you know how long it took me to wake you up?" Elton said.

"Probably forever." I said stretching.

"Yep, now go get ready, we are going to the beach after Heath finishes breakfast." Elton said walking away.

I nodded and hopped up. The room smelled like bacon as I walked away.

After getting ready I walked over to the deck and went outside. It was even more beautiful in the day out here.

"Hey, how'd you sleep?" Sam asked.

"Eh, fine." I said shrugging.

"That's good. I was out like a light." Sam said laughing.

"Breakfast!" Heath yelled.

"Hell yeah." I said going inside.

Heath had made bacon and eggs. And damn did they taste good, I had no idea he was such a good cook.

After finishing, it was beach time.

"Alrighty boys are you ready?" Elton yelled through the house.

"Yeah!" We all said.

To the beach!

"This place is awesome." Sam said. The beach we were at was surrounded by cliffs, making it seemed enclosed.

It was oddly warm out as I walked over to the water. The water felt nice, cold since it was Febuary, but nice.

"Ooh! We should do a cinematic shot, it would be sick." Elton said.

"Yeah we- Sam!" Heath said.

I turned my head to where Sam was, he was walking along some slippery rocks.

"Sam you are gonna fall, be careful!" Heath said.

Yep, there is mama Heath. He is literally the mom of this little group.
