Assume (Solby)

Chapter 21

(Sam's POV)

It had been a few hours after everything was posted. We all sat down stairs talking and laughing. We played video games and watched old videos. We ate and talked about video ideas.

Everything was perfect.

"Oh my god! Remember when you got launched off the snow mobile?" Corey said.

"Oh my god, yeah." Colby said and we laughed.

Aaron looked confused. 

"I'll show you." Corey said pulling the video up on the tv.

We watched it and Aaron laughed, "Dude, that must've hurt like hell." Aaron said.

"Honestly, it did, I just didn't say anything." Colby said laughing.

"Colby!" I said.

"What? That was like forever ago." He said.

We all calmed down for a minute and only the sound of Jake eating chips was around us.

"Jake don't eat the whole bag." Corey said.

"But they are soooo good." He said.

"Hey guys, so, I was thinking." Colby started, grabbing everyone's attention.

We all looked at him.

"Maybe I could move back in?" He said smiling.

"Dude! That would be awesome!' Jake said.

"Hell yeah!" Corey said laughing.

"It sounds so cool!" Devyn said.

"Please!" Aaron said.

"That would be the best." I said smiling at him.

"Really?" He asked.

"Yes! Dude, we have all missed you so much. It would be so cool in you moved back in." Aaron said.

We all agreed.

He laughed and smiled. "Thanks, so then it's settled, I'm moving back in." He said.

We all jumped up and group hugged. I looked over to Colby who was in the middle of everything. He was smiling, his eyes closed but he was so happy.

I felt like crying because everything is okay. Everything is amazing. 

We are all so happy in this moment right now that I can feel it radiating around us. We all started talking about what to do to announce Colby would be moving back in. We talked about throwing a big party like we used to do all the time. 

But after another hour it all calmed down and since it was about ten pm, some of us went to bed.

Me and Colby sat in my room just having light conversation. 

"So, I would move back into my room, of course." Colby said.

"Yeah, I can help you move in if you want." I said.

"Thanks. Now I just have to figure out how to tell Brennen." Colby said.

"I'm sure he will be fine with it." I said leaning back in my chair.

"Yeah, I'm just nervous to tell him for some reason." Colby said.

I nodded, "Yeah, you have lived with him for over a year." I said.

The atmosphere changed. I could feel whatever was going on earlier slipping away.

But I don't want it to slip away. I want it to be happy.
