Chapter 24

(Colby POV)

I laid with Sam in my arms, his blonde hair a crazy mess.

It was probably 10am.

I didn't want to get up as long as Sam was in my arms, he was warm and cuddly. I would also still be asleep if it weren't for my phone being blown up by a group chat right next to my ear.

Suddnely he began to move and slowly opened his eyes, "Good morning." He said in a low morning voice.

I smiled, "Morning."

He reached over towards his phone and turned it on, I did the same with mine.

I ignored the group chat and s saw a text from Brennen.

Brennen: yo wanna come film??

Colby: maybe, I'll see if im busy

"Damn it." Sam said next to me.

"What?" I asked looking to him.

"It's... nothing." He said putting his phone down.

"Oh." I said laying my head back on my pillow.

I dont know why, but i already felt worn out. I mean, all I did was wake up, how do I feel so worn out?

It bothered me. But I said nothing.

"Wanna go downstairs? I'm hungry." Sam said sighing.

I nodded and we both basically got dressed and headed downstairs.

"Sup idiots." Jake said smirking at us.

Jake knows. Shit. I thought.

"Nice hair." Sam said.

I looked at Jake's hair, it was bleached, "Whoa, what color are you doing next?" I asked.

"I have no idea. I asked twitter and uh, they are not helping." Jake said shrugging.

"Damn." I said sitting down.

"Oh! Colbs I have another place for an explore video. I thought we could bring the board-"

"Nope." I said, "Not today Witch boy. Demons and ghouls are staying out of my life right now."

"Come on. It'll be fun!" Sam said.

"You, are crazy." I said laughing slightly.

"Makes you crazy for liking me I guess." He said smirking.

"COUGH GAY COUGH" Jake said holding back a smile.

"I will throw a shoe at you." Sam said.

I laughed.

Sam was busy planning 3 am videos with Jake, and I was sitting across my room on my phone.

Then Brennen texted me again.

Brennen: Hey you never texted back

Colby: shit sorry

Brennen: whats with you lately? You ditched me and shit

Colby: what? I didnt. Ive just been with sam a lot and stuff because we just became friends again

Brennen: that was 5 months ago, cant you be a cool person and come over and film

Colby: I'll come over tomorrow

Brennen: i fucking bet you will

Colby: can you chill please?

Brennen: you know katrina told me some shit about you and sam

Colby: kat? Brennen i swear to god what are you doing?

Brennen: views are views man

I felt my heart beat pick up. What did that mean?

I stood up and clicked Brennen's number.

"I'll be right back." I mumbled walking out of the room.

I went up to my room.

"Hello?"

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"What I gotta do. Views are low man. You know that."

"Listen. I understand when I moved out it probably upset you and then me not hanging out with you is kinda dick move but... I've just been really caught up in how good it feels to be back."

"You just up and fucking left because he came back into your life. I didnt leave when he did, is it like a switch off or something? He comes back, i go?"

"Brennen, man-"

"It's fine. Go be gay with your best friend. It's fine I'm good."

"How the- you know?"

"Know what?"

Fuck. I am so fucked.

"Wait, I hold on you-"

"You and Sam are together? That's who he was talking about when he talked to kat? Oh man. This is good "

"Brennen you can't say anything please, I get your views are low but-"

"It's happening. Drama will start, views will go up, you'll be destroyed."

"What the fuck is wrong with you?! We were friends."

"Yeah, were. You are just a needy low life. Sam honestly had a good reason to hate you for so long, ya know?"

"Stop being-"

"That's why you have no friends. They know how fucking low you'll stoop. They know you are a needy bitch. You're getting exposed, try to stop me, I dare you."

And the call ended.

I felt my heart beat quicken.

I'm dead. Everyone is gonna know.

My family will know.

They can't know. No one can know.

I'm so screwed I'm so screwed I'm-

"Babe?" Sam asked.

"Sam we are both so fucking screwed." I said turning to him.

"Colby you're shaking what's wrong?" He asked walking over to me.

"Brennen and Katrina they- They're gonna fucking-" I need to slow my breathing I'm hyperventilating.

"What?"

"They're posting an expose video on us and they know about us." I said shakily.

I could feel it. That panicked feeling. That just weight making me want to crawl into a hole and die.

"Hey, hey clam down." Sam said looking at me.

I looked into his eyes.

"Listen, we'll be okay. We have each other this time. I love you." He said calmly.

I nodded, "I love you too, but I'm scared."

Sam nodded, "Yeah, me too."

He pulled me in and we hugged tightly.

"We got this though." He said softly.

God I hope he's right. I really fucking do.
