Chapter 23

An: LOCAL AUTHOR WHO NEVER FUCKING UPDATES, UPDATES AFTER FOUR MONTHS. Yeah hi what's up home slices I am really tired but uhhhh fall is kicking in and fall and winter really inspire me for some odd ass reason, so here is an update. It's probably shit but anyway yeah. Imma go sleep now bc I have school and it's almost midnight and I never sleep anymore. L8er sk8ers.

(Sam POV)

"Oh not again." Colby said sighing.

"What?" I asked, looking at him as he  spun in my chair.

"You and ghosts and shit." Colby said stopping and looking to me.

"What? It's fun! And I really wanna know what's out there." I said turning back to my computer.

"Yeah but I really don't want my boyfriend getting possessed." Colby said.

"I won't, scouts honor." I said laughing slightly.

"You are lucky I love you." Colby said.

I laughed.

"I'm bored." Colby groaned a moment later.

"Go on your phone emo boy." I said.

"But I wanna do something with you!" Colby protested.

I turned to him, "Alright, gimmy some ideas."

He stared at me.

"You've got nothing, huh?"

"Nope."

"Jesus Colby." I said laughing.

"Wait! I've got one!" He said.

"Then what is it?" I asked.

"Let's go watch a horror movie. There's a new one coming out. You like scary shit, I like scary shit, we could makeout in the back of the movie theater-"

"We're not in high school, Colbs." I said raising a brow.

"Pleaseeee?" He begged.

I sighed, "Fine, movies it is." I gave in.

"Yes!" He said.

I closed my laptop and grabbed my phone and keys, and we headed down the stairs.

The sun was starting to set out, it was about 7pm.

"Hey idiots, where you going?" Jake asked from the kitchen.

"Eh, to watch a movie." I said.

"Oh, I need your help with something later." Jake said to me.

"Let me guess, demons?"

"Yeah demons."

"You guys are gonna get possessed." Colby mumbled.

"Oh shut it we'll be fine." I said turning to him.

He shrugged and smiled.

"Okay, how about when I get back later tonight?" I asked.

"Yeah, that works." Jake said.

"Alright, we gotta go if we wanna get to the movie before a later time." Colby said.

"Shit yeah. Wait when does it start?" I asked.

"... 7:30." Colby said.

"Colby! That's in like 20 minutes." I said. "Yeah I gotta gotta go, see ya later." I said to Jake.

I grabbed Colby's hand and dragged him behind me.

"Babe, in LA traffic we are not getting there in time." I said sighing.

"I can check when it plays next and we can go out to eat?" Colby asked.

"That works." I said as we got into my car. I thought for a second, "You planned this, didn't you?" I asked.

"Well, technically, yes." He said smirking.

"Of course you did." I said rolling my eyes, but smiling.

After the dinner and movie, we headed home. It was about 10:30pm.

We walked into the house, it being pretty quiet. Jake I know was up, I need to help him with a video. Aaron was probably in his computer, and Corey was probably asleep.

Colby yawned next to me.

"You can head to bed, I gotta help Jake with a video." I said setting my keys on the table.

"Which room?" Colby asked.

"Your's is probably less haunted." I said.

He nodded sleepily and leaned over, kissing me quickly.

"Night." He said walking up the stairs.

I smiled, "Night."

I walked towards the kitchen to grab a water, but as I turned a corner I saw a very confused Jake.

"Uh, hey..." Jake said awkwardly.

It didn't take me long to realize he had defiantly seen that, "Well fuck."

"I thought... wait you.. I'm so confused." Jake said exasperated.

"Alright please don't say anything, me and Colby don't really know how to tell anyone yet. Anyone who does know has accidently found out and like, shit." I said covering my face with my hands.

"Hey hey, I have no problem with it! Honestly! I just, ya know, thought you were strait and had a girlfriend." Jake said.

"Me and Kat broke up about two months ago. Me and Colby got together after that. And I'm bi, so I'm kinda strait? If that makes sense." I explained.

"Ooohhh, see now I'm not as confused." Jake said, "Now I just am surprised."

"Yeah it was weird how it happened. But that aside, what are we doing?" I asked.

Jake nodded, "Yeah, okay. So I found this ritual-"

"I'm in." I said.

I walked into Colby's room, expecting him to be asleep, but found him on his phone.

"You're still up?" I asked.

"Oh, yeah. It's creepy in here." He said.

I laughed, getting undressed and throwing some comfy clothes on.

"Of course." I said walking over to his bed.

"Hey, I don't screw with demons and shit almost 24/7. So a horror movie is gonna give me a spook." Colby reasoned.

"Understandable. But you're a dork." I said.

We both curled up next to each other and smiled.

"I'm tired." I said.

"Me too." Colby said.

I laughed softly, "Okay, good night, I love you." I said.

"Love you too."

"Oh, also Jake kinda found out."

"What?!"
