It was almost prom, and I already forgotten about Jay.

I just thought I would move on, but I was thinking moving on with Addis..

Fine I'm kinda falling for him, but don't judge. He's been there for me even though I am still rude to him.

I was just studying when i heard a knock on my window.

"Hi Mary." He waved.

"Hey, what's up." I blush, smiling.

"Are you busy tomorrow?" He asks.

"No I was just studying, why?" I asked.

"Could you meet me at the park at 5:00 tomorrow after school?" He said smiling.

"Sure, I'll meet you there." I said,smiling back.

I closed my window and started to text Katy.

Heyyyy.... um what does it mean when a boy asks you out in 5:00 in the park and it's close to prom?
I asked, specifically.

Addis asked you or what?
She asked.

I giggled.

Then... let me think... he likes you... and it's almost prom...so.. YEP HE'S GONNA ASK YOU!
she yelled getting excited.

Lol okay, I need you to help me pick an outfit.
I blushed.

So you DO have feelings for him!
She giggled.

I closed my phone.

Before I knew it I heard the door bell ring.

"I'll get it!" I yelled.

It was Katy! "Hey! Come on let's go pick an outfit." I nodded, closed the door and followed her to my room.

As I waited in the park, I decided I could text the whole group.

Hey guys! What's up?
I asked.

Sup Mary, nothing just chillen with my beautiful girlfriend Ashley.
Matt flirt.

How's Ashley?
Katy asked.

I'm doing fine.. Matt is such a gentleman.
Ashley answered.

Don't make him do anything wrong Ashley!
I proclaimed.

What can I possibly do wrong to such a sexy girl?
Matt asked.

Come on.. I wasn't the only person who was checking him out.

So you were CHECKING HIM OUT!?
Katy yelled.

Shut up! Katy you acted suspicious when you came out of the hotel room with Roman soup!
I laughed at the nickname I just gave Roman.

Um... come on! (Don't tell mom PLEASE)
Katy cried out.

Matt laughed.

Gtg guys.. I guess while I'm waiting I could just go walking. It is beautiful outside.
I said.

Kk Mary. Say hi to Addis for me please!
Katy said.

I smiled as I put my phone in my pocket.

"M-Mary?" I heard a familiar voice call out.

I turned around and it was Jason! My old friend from middle school!

"Jason?! It's been long! I thought you moved!" I ran up to him and hugged him.

Jason and I have been friends since 6th grade. He has brown curly hair, and green eyes. We both had a crush on each other but I honestly didn't want to return my feelings since I needed good grades.

"I moved but.. I wanted to go to collage here, where all my friends were at!" He smiled.

I laughed.

"Katy, Matt, and. Ashley are going to flip out when they see you." I crossed my arms.

"Would they? Would they really?" He joked.

I gave him all of our numbers with a piece of paper.

"Thanks Mary. By the way.. why are you in the park? You usually don't like to go outside." He asked, putting the paper in his pocket.

"Well...I'm meeting someone." I blushed.

Jason looked at me.

"Meeting someone? 'Someone'?"

"Y-yes..." I looked down.

"I get it... your on a date?" Jason figured.

"W-wha--"

"Mary?" I heard Addis inturupt.

I looked at him then back at Jason.

"This is Jason.. my old friend from Middle School. Jason this is Addison... my 'friend'" I blushed as I said the word.

Jason laughed and held out his hand.

"Addison huh? Thats a name i never heard before." Jason jokes.

Addis laughs. "Ha! Yeah i know...."

They both laugh.

I was just standing there staring at Addis on how cute he looks. Please tell me I'm not falling for him... PLEASE!

"So.. you guys are 'friends?" Jason asked.

"Don't push it.." I gave him a glare.

"Aw.. you both want to be more than friends.." Jason said.

I slapped him on the arm. "Shut up Jason!"

Addis laughed.

"I want to."

I blush and just stared at him.

"I'll just be over there... probably either staring at you both or just text the whole group." He disappeared and left me and Addison alone.
