Chapter 18

"Hey Mary!! Hows your leg?" Ashley asked, sitting next to Matt on our lunch spot.

"It feels better than last time heh, " i laugh.

"Hey like people way, keep trying!" Jason yells.

As i sat down i gave Jason a funny look. "Honestly Jason.. no one says that anymore."

Jason rolls his eyes.

"Hey guys, what are you guys talking about?" Katy asks smiling, walking towards us.

I look back and spot Addis walking with Katy.

I blushed immediately and wave at Katy.

"Good just talking to Mary over here about her leg." Jason chuckles.

"Yeah... barely.." I said quietly like I was mad or even sad.

Addis looked at me confused, knowing something was wrong.

"Hey Mary.." Addis called out.

I looked up, pretending to have a smile on my face.

"Can i take you somewhere? Maybe skip Math period?" Addis winked.

I blushed and looked at him surprised. As i nodd he takes my wrist and pulls me somewhere more private.

"Addis? What are you up to?" I asked him nervously.
I honestly don't know what has gotten into me since i met Addis.

"I thought, maybe we could just take a rest from all that learning." He sat down looking out in the distance.

"Sure.. sure... it is quite beautiful out here." I commented. When i took a look at Addis he was staring at me with his beautiful hazel eyes.

I turn away blushing... i mean.. why am i blushing? Do i even like Addis?

"Mary.. i know your still having trouble with, you know.. your dad... i want to be here for you when your down or mixed up. I never asked, and i promise i will never ask again.." I looked at him confused.

"Are you atleast growning feelings for me?" He looks into my eyes, like he was good at reading them.

I looked down, thinking about my dad and Jay... "Addis.. your different.. you helped me get through my dad, you help me get a ride to H.E.B. one time.. you didnt even give up when i told you we weren't gonna be friends.." i laugh..

"You... accepted my kiss, from my birthday. You even got me this beautiful necklace. You helped me get over Jay, you even stayed the night at the hospital to come visit me. You sang your very own song to me.. you played your guitar. You were checking out my butt when we were at the beach." I gave him a glare, that makes him laugh.

"You also laugh at my stupid jokes.. where im getting at is.. the night when you told me you loved me... i didnt know what to say.. but just reject you... im sorry Addison.. i like you, but i still dont know if i love you." I tear.

Addis looks at me surprised, happiness in his eyes. He gave me a big smile and hugged me tight. "Even if you love me or not, ill still be here.. i love you so much Mary i will never, ever, let you go."

I hug him back, hearing his heart beating.

After awhile we let go and talk abit. Once the bell rang for the day to end he hugged me again.

"I swear Mary, your just so huggable!" I hear Addis yell, making me laugh.

"Whatever Addis, hurry up before i kick you again." I giggle.

"But your so adorable!" Addis yells.

I gave him a glare, making him let go. "Okay.. do you want to go have lunch together?" He asked.
