Late night

(Sleepy entry)

It was 10:57 pm when you texted me

I was ready for bed, sleep pulling my eyelids closed with tremendous force

I thought about ignoring your text but I always had trouble denying you

Late night, tell me what's on your mind

The next morning I might struggle to wake up on time

I'll try to keep up with the conversation, you hit me up for a reason

So I'll try to be there for you like I promised I would be

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't sleepy

It's now 11:20 and my mind is still set on sleeping but I have to stay awake
