After Chances family left it was very strange in the house between me and Chance. Chance wouldn't even look at me for long. He was just about done packing his bags for his business trip. I didn't want us to leave off on bad terms like this, at first i thought things was fine but as the week went by he just was being extremely quite. Chance picked up his bag and was headed for the door. "I'm about to leave see you in a few days." I was surprised he even said that to me. Chance still wasn't making eye contact with me. "Wait!" I said before Chance opened the door. "Yeah Trina?" "Are you still mad at me? You haven't really been talking to me. Or even looking at me. What's wrong?" "Nothing , I told you I need a little space. I thought you understood that. This shit with my family kinda been getting to me." "I do understand but when you live with someone it's a little different, we have to communicate. Have a nice trip." Chance grabbed his bags and left. I was mad but I didn't want to be. I walked into the bedroom sitting on the edge of the bed. My cell phone buzzed. It was a text message from Q.
Q: T meet up with me tomorrow
Trina: No go away!
Q: The address 5345 Center Line you come to me or I come to you.
What other choice do I have now. I just wanted to clear my head. I wasn't scared to see Q. What more do we need to talk about. I finally got over my inner thought and decided to meet with Q. Chance did leave me with his credit card. Why not a little treat for myself. I looked up some near by spas. I settled on one with some nice reviews.
I slid on my low top pumas and walked out the door. On my way out I saw Keri she gave me a nasty look as always. I didn't respond to her fucked up face. It was pointless. Like Ta'jeah always said "You can't compete where you don't compare." Keri wasn't even a dime compared to me. I got in my car and began my navigation to the spa. I needed a deep soak and massage. My nails and toes was crying for help as well. I pulled up to the spa and walked in. "Hi ma'am , may I help you?" A women at the front counter asked me. "Yes do you have any specials today? I want a full treatment." "Yes we do , you can follow me to the back." I followed the lady to the back to the spa chairs. I took a seat and she went back to the front. "A Chinese lady greeted me as she sat in the chair near my feet turning on the water. "Hi my name is Naomi and I will be doing your soak , pedi and massage. I slipped my shoes off and put them in the warm soapy water. I closed my eyes and my thoughts roamed back to Chance. I shook Chance from my mind and tried to relax. After getting my toes and nails done I got a massage. The day just flew by. Next thing I knew my day at the spa was over. I decided to head back home.
I walked into the building lobby surprised that I didn't see that bitch Keri. I stepped off the elevator making my way to the door. I stopped in my tracks and just stared. "I could have sworn I locked this door." I remembered locking it and everything. I knew i wasn't in Brooklyn anymore but i still kept my gun on me.
