Love or Hate- A Jyrus Fanfic

AWAKE.

Slowly, I felt my eyes begin to flutter open. The sky was no longer blue, but now a pinkish-orange color, with the sun beginning to set. I reached into my pocket to check what time it was.

"5:00" I practically screamed, waking up Jonah in the process.

Jonah jumped up, looking confused until he saw me, which seemed to calm him down a bit.

"What happened Cy" Jonha yawned sleepily

"Jonah, we've been sleeping here for nine hours," I said in a nervous tone.

"Nine more and I'll be good."

He then proceeded to rest his head on mine again and fall back to sleep. I really did not want this moment to end, but I had to tell Andi and Buffy. Plus it was already 5:00 and Bex said she was making brownies today. So I decided to get up, but mainly for the brownies. Andi and Buffy could have waited.

"Jonah, I have to go now." I said in a hushed voice.

"Just for a little bit longer Cy, please."Jonah pouted. He made a sad face which almost convinced me to stay, but then I remembered the Brownies.

"We can do this another time Jonah, but I really have to go."

"Okay, I understand. See you later Cy." Jonah said disappointedly.

I tried to get up, but Jonah still had his arm around my waist. He got the point though and quickly pulled his hand back. Instantly I missed the feeling of having it wrapped around me. I smiled at him and started towards Andi's house.

As soon as I left the park I started running. Okay, I exaggerated again, I speed-walked, which is enough physical activity for me, thank-you-very-much. Anyways, this smile won't leave my face. This is the happiest I've felt in a long time, it feels like nothing can bring me down. Well, except for the stairs I have to go down to get to Andi's apartment.
