The sky was pitch black, lit by what looked like millions of stars. As I stared in aw, I felt something grab my hand, intertwining my fingers. Naturally, my body turned around to see who it was. It was none other than Jonah freakin Beck. "This cannot be happening, this is not happening," I said practically screaming with excitement.
"Cyrus, will you be my BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP"
I practically fell off my bed, which hurt a lot actually, I have a frail figure. And then out of nowhere, I heard someone burst out laughing. without even having to check who this heartless person was, I said
"Buffy who let you in at 7:30 in the morning." I groaned while checking my phone and falling back asleep."
"Who do think, your m-mo (takes a deep breath before continuing) mom. Anyways stop dreaming about Johona and get your ass up. We're going to the spoon."
This is what happens when someone knows you too well. And with Buffy, I mean way, way too well. It to the point now where Buffy knows more about me than I know about me. In fact, I didn't even have to tell her that I liked Jonah. She just figured it out on the first day I met him back in fourth grade because I stuttered when I spoke to him. Wait speaking of stuttering, didn't Buffy just stutter. She never studders, and I mean never. Well back to the story, I turned redder that Lary the Lobster and Mr. Krabs combined and, of course, all Buffy could do was laugh.
"It's just hot in here, especially with this blanket on."
"Don't even start with that Cyrus, I know you way to damn..."
"Buffy, LANGUAGE." I heard someone else say.
Again, I didn't even need to think about who it was.
"Andi, you're here too." I groaned
"You guessed it!" she said
Now Andi is the complete opposite to Buffy. I'm not saying she dumb, it's just that you kind of have to spell everything out for her, if you get my drift.
"Andi, Damn Is not a curse word" Buffy began.
"Yes it is, it says so on Urban Dictionary" Andi retorted.
"That not a real dictionary" Buffy rebuttaled.
"Yes it is" Andi said.
Did I forget to mention that Andi and Buffy argue a lot? And by a lot, I mean every hour, of every day, since the second grade. Alright, I may have exaggerated a little, but still. And guess who's in the middle of it all. Yours truly, Cyrus Goodman.
"Cyrus, Urban Dictionary is a real dictionary, right."
"No Buffy, it's not, right Cyrus."
"Alright!" I said slightly annoyed. "If we go to the spoon, will you to stop arguing."
They both nodded their head.
"Alright, if I hear a single peep from either of you, you don't want to know what I'll do."
"And what will you do Cyrus."
Buffy just had to say it, didn't she? Honestly, I didn't even know what I would do if they started to argue again, I just knew that they would. I swear, sometimes I feel like more of a parent to the two than their best friends.
"Buffy, I don't think you should instigate Cyrus."
"Andi, It's not instigating, it's just asking a question."
"No, it's instigating Buffy."
"Is not, right Cyrus!"
I just shook my head and got up off of the floor, going into my bathroom. Everything seems fine until I come out of the shower and begin to brush my hair. Low-and-behold, what do I hear again.
"Buffy, it is technically instigating though," Andi says, bringing up the argument from before
"No it's not, ask Cyrus."
I just sighed and tried to block them out, which was impossible by the way.
