"Should I go casual or formal?" I asked Andi while looking around the mall for an outfit to wear to my Bar Mitzvah.
"Definitely Formal?" She responded, "But first can we go to the food court, please Cy."
"Andi, you know only Jonah can call me that name." I wined
"Why does Jonah get to have you all to himself." Andi whispered, quickly realizing what she just said.
"I mean ya, obviously Jonah calls you Cy, hey let's get some pizza, you want pizza, I want pizza."
"Okay..." I said awkwardly, obviously confused as well as a little suspicious.
We went over to the food court where, speak of the Devil, we saw the Jonah Beck.
I started to turn around and quickly walk away, Andi following my lead. In no way was I prepared to talk Jonah Frekin Beck right now. But, you guys are probably pretty familiar with my luck by now.
"Hey Cy!" I heard someone shout from behind me, hearing their footsteps as they walked towards me.
Nervously, I turned around and waved "Hey, Jonah Beck."
"I think that I should get going, It's getting pretty late. By Cyrus." Andi said. You could just sense the disappointment in her voice.
"Ok, bye Andi. If you ever need anything, you know where to find me." I responded, concerned
We waved bye to each other and she quickly turned around and walked away. Is it just me or has Andi been acting really weird recently, and that's coming from a weird person. She's always awkward when I talk about Jonah. Does she like Jonah? Mabey she likes... no way, that's imposable.
"Who does Andi like." Jonah said, trying to hide the anger in his voice.
Shit, I said that out loud. I'm so stupid.
"Cyrus, who does Andi like?" Jonah demanded, trying even harder to hide his anger.
"No-nobody Jo-Jonah, honestly." I said, backing away slightly.
Jonah didn't respond, but I saw that his facial expression relaxed and became calmer. Hopefully, he wasn't angry.
We walked around the mall for the rest of the day, heading into PacSun, Urban Outfitters, Forever 21 and The Loui V store, which I promptly ran out of when I saw the prices. By the end of the day I was practically broke, but hey, look on the bright side. I still had enough money to buy a basket of baby taters, if I bargained enough.
Whenever we left a store, Jonah would always take the bag out of my hand and open the door for me. By the end of the day, he was basically a walking shopping cart. He wouldn't even let me carry a single bag.
Eventually, Jonah led us to a secluded fountain near the back of the mall. Nobody, and I mean nobody, was there, well except for us two.
As we sat down on the edge of the fountain, Jonah wrapped his arm around my waist, pulling my body closer towards him. Then suddenly, I felt a pair of lops on my own. I was so taken aback that I didn't even know that the person on my lips was Jonah Beck. Wow, I never thought I would be using those words to make a sentence.
Eventually, the kiss turned into more of a makeout-session, with me balancing on my back on the edge of the fountain and him hovering over me. My hands were wrapped around his neck pulling me closer while I felt his tongue trying to get into my mouth.
Eventually, he pulled away and sat up, me following his lead. After that, none of us knew what to say, but thankfully he took the lead.
"I love you Cy." he said, pulling me into a hug.
"I love you to Jonah." I responded in pure bliss.
