As the days passed by, life seemed to regain it's lost normality. The simplicity I so craved had returned, bounding my life together. Everything just seemed... just seemed right again, at least for now.
Sitting cross-legged on my bed, I was in the middle of watching an episode of Freinds, I heard my door swing open, revealing a rather happy looking Jonah.
"What happened to you." I asked.
"You." Jonah said wittily, smiling and kissing me on my lips.
"So, what do you want to do?" He continued whilst stretching out, lounging on my bed.
"Finish watching this episode." I said whilst unpausing the video, turning the volume up. It tuned out the be futile, however, as Jonah's constant whining seemed to drown out all of the dialogue
"Baby" Jonah wined.
"Baby" Jonah wined in an even more annoying voice.
"Cyrus, give me attention." Jonah whined even louder, with half of his body leaning just outside of the bed, trying his best to look bored.
"I'm trying to give my attention to this show, so if you could shut up I would appreciate it." I complained.
Getting off of the bed, Jonah came and stood right in front of me at the foot of my bed.
"Cy...Cyrus...Baby...Love...Beloved ...Future Husband." Jonah repeated annoyingly, reminding me of that one episode from Family Guy.
Still not giving in to his whines, Jonah swiftly closed my laptop, placing it off to the side of my bed.
"Jonah! I hate you so fucking much right now."I huffed while crossing my arms together over my chest, looking away from him.
"No you don't." He said with the smile plastered across his face.
"Yes I do." I huffed once more.
"No you don't." Jonah said while using the palm of his had to gently point my face towards his.
"So, how was your day?" Jonah asked, sitting down next to me.
Still pretending to be mad, I scooted over, increasing the distance between us.
Jonah being Jonah, however, scooted right on down next to me, however. I tried to scoot down again, but that didn't so well. Let's just say that I kind of fell off of the bed, landing on top of a pillow that Jonah had pushed off of the bed.
"Your adorable Cy." Jonah said, looking at me from on top of the bed.
Eventually, Jonah put on a movie, forcing me to watch it.
Midway through the movie, Jonah had cuddled against me. I was lying sideways, my head on his chest whilst he used the bed rest sit up straight. His arm was slung tightly over my shoulder, periodically pulling me closer into him.
Throughout the movie I would ask questions, sometimes just to annoy Jonah. Ok, I guess just to annoy Jonah.
"Hey, didn't he get shot?" I asked.
"Cyrus, it's a Disney movie." He replied, slightly annoyed.
"Is that Olaf?" I asked further into the movie.
"It's Mulan! MULAN!" Jonah said even more annoyed.
"Jonah, that looks like you. You can't say that doesn't look like you." I said, pointing to the ugliest character in the movie.
"Cyrus, can you just watch the movie." Jonah said sighing.
"Hey, I'm just giving you a taste of your own medicine." I said.
Suddenly, Jonah leaned his head down and locked his lips into mine. After a solid two minutes he finally let go.
"That's all the medicine I need." He said, looking back up towards the tv.
"I love you too." I said, snuggling in closer into him.
"Told you that you don't hate me."He said gently stroking my hair as my eyes began to flutter closed, the heat from Jonah's chest heating up my body as my mind fell into the realm of sleep.
