You awoke to the sun shining through the curtains. Rising from your rest, you felt pretty much relaxed. One of the most comfortable sleep you had in years. You recalled the conversation you had with Sebastian the night before. The realization hit you, you told him what you were. Knowing the contact he made with the young boy, he would tell what he had known about you coming out of your own mouth. You cursed yourself for letting that happened. You quickly got prepared for the day, getting ready to face whatever was awaiting you.

Remembering how Sebastian said that your morning routine was preparing breakfast for the young lord, you made your way to the kitchen. Finding your way around the kitchen, after half an hour, you prepare the tea set as well as the breakfast on a cart, ready to take them to the lord's chamber.

As you made your way out of the kitchen, Sebastian came in your way, halting your movements. You groaned silently and shooed him out of your way. "Move it, I'm doing my job."

Sebastian looked down at the cart, releasing a short chuckle, his hand in his chin. You shrieked in annoyance, resting an elbow on the handle of the cart. "What's so funny?"

"I already gave the young master his breakfast. You're didn't read the note I gave you, did you?" He said, glancing at the hall to your room. You raised a brow and shrugged. "Not that I remember." Mostly because of how distracted you were this morning, fearing about what might happen.

"You should've told me, or maybe place the note on the door or some shit." You threw your hands up in defeat, throwing your head back as a sigh escaped your lips. "You really need to watch your language around here, the young master has his reputation to secure," Sebastian spoke up, walking past you to the kitchen. You groaned at that, pulling back the cart to the kitchen. "Ugh, reputation, that's all they care about." You mocked the words in a tone.

"Why did you cover for me?" You popped a question as Sebastian pulled out a chair of the small dining table in the kitchen. "I figured you needed some time after last night. So decided to help you." He replied. He then walked over to you glancing at the cart.

"Now, so that your efforts don't go waste, will you have breakfast with me?" He required, glancing at the table. You studied him as he put up a genuine smile, taking the cart from your hands.

"Breakfast?" You muttered utter nonsense and placed your hands on your hips. "You don't even eat human food."

Sebastian tapped the chair he pulled out for you, telling you you should sit there. You whined and took a seat. He wandered off to the other side, placing a cup of tea and a plate of toast and eggs ahead of you.

((I literally looked up what British people eat for breakfast))

He took a seat right across you, placing his arms on the table. "So, I'm guessing you told the young master about me? Can't blame you on that." You mumbled, taking a sip of your tea. The warm feeling of the hot liquid relieved you. Upon everything, you were enjoying the quiet morning.

"I'm afraid so. He also required your presence after breakfast." Sebastian said, refilling your cup. You sighed and hanged your head low.

"Does anyone else know you're a demon?" You looked back at him, resting your cheek on your palm. He sat straight on his seat before replying, "No, but there's one thing that the other servants know."

Before you could open your mouth to speak, the back door of the kitchen burst open as a figure rushed into the room. The next thing you knew, you were trampled to the floor as a half-dressed man with pale skin and white hair pinned you down. He somehow barked at you and started to lick your face.

"Pluto, no!"

You pushed away his face from you as you felt hands on your sides, pulling you away. Finny came by, he pulled the rope that was attached to the man's collar on his neck, which you didn't notice before. Sebastian pulled you off of him as Finny yanked off the rope.

"What just happened?!" You raised your voice, getting onto your knees. "Finny, get him out!"

As you stood up, Pluto jumped on you, leaving you with no choice but to hold him. He wasn't as heavy as you thought but it was an awkward position. You moved your face away from him as far as possible, yet he still planting licks onto your face.

"Well— uhh... That never happened before."

"What? Me holding a man while he's licking to me?" You spat, yanking off Pluto from you. You brushed your dress, seeing him still on his knees, eyes sparkling at you. You sighed and pointed out the door. "Go on, outside." You ordered him. Surprisingly, he barked before he happily strutted out of the kitchen. You turned to see Finnian, a shocked look on his face.

"He likes you, that's new. Usually, he's growling to every new people met." Finny exclaimed, glancing out the door. Sebastian cleared his throat and ordered him to go back to the garden which he immediately did.

"Okay, I missed the part where I know what that was." You said, looking out the door then back to Sebastian. "That's Pluto, one which I was about to tell you. He's a hound. A demon hound." He explained, giving you a handkerchief for you to wipe your face. You hummed, not entirely surprised, and took it, dabbing it on your face. You knew such creatures exist, you just didn't realize mortals would accept them.

"Let me guess, they know what he is?" You finished wiping your face, folding the handkerchief, and giving it back to him. Sebastian breathed out a chuckle, "it's a long story..." Sebastian tidied up the table and the scattered tea set.

"How are you enjoying here so far?" Sebastian asked, he held up a small smile, one which almost caught you off guard. You shook your head, getting ahead of yourself, and replied, "So far so good. Better than any others, if I have to say."

Sebastian nodded at your response, he checked his pocket watch before putting it back to his coat. "I think it's time. Shall we?" He gestured towards the door. You breathed out of your nose and shrugged. "Doesn't appear like I have another choice." You shook your head, walking ahead of him. Sebastian followed your figure, smiling to himself.

In the end, he walked past you, guiding your way to the young master's study. "Also, you look nice in a dress, kitten." He peered over his shoulder, giving you a half-smirk. You wiggled your head in a sign of mockery. Though as much as you like trousers, you didn't mind using skirts again.

Brushing off the invisible dust of your skirt, you accidentally bumped into Sebastian when he stopped his tracks. He glanced at you, forming a little smirk on his lips. You grimaced at him, "Could've told me we're here."

Sebastian didn't say another word, he knocked on the door, waiting for a reply. "I warned you this time. Watch your language." He spoke in a sudden, one which you replied with an eye roll. You took in a deep breath as you prepare for whatever the young master's required.
