"Please, Y/n... Let me love you."

You had never seen a demon begged for you before. Not only that, he kissed you. And you kissed him back.

Sebastian held your cheek, a concerned smile on his lips. Your mouth gaped a little, watching him taking your hands up to his lips, giving him a light kiss. But somehow, you liked the feeling. You never thought he would love you back.

But even though you just met a few months ago, in the end, you accepted him.

You let out a smile, kissing his cheeks. "Think you can keep up with my attitude?" You giggled, leaning in his face. He chuckled lightly, planting another kiss on your hand. "I'll try."

"Trafficking?!" You snapped as Ciel mentioned the case he was given recently. Ciel nodded at your words, tapping in the papers on his desk. "The plan is to attend this ball, see if there are anything suspi—”

You shook your head disapprovingly, walking over to him. "And what if there is? You want me to bait them?" Ciel shook his head calmly, perhaps regretting letting you lash at him whenever you want. Ciel raised his hand at you, motioning you to sit back down. "Calm down. We're still working on the plan. I need your opinion on this."

Sighing, you sat back down on the chair, arms folded across your chest. "We'll show up in a disguise. We can split around the room, looking for any kinds of kidnappings." Ciel continued with the plan as you casually listened. "If any of them actually catch you, we'll trail them. Whatever happens, we'll have your back. So don't worry, you're safe."

You let out another sigh and shrugged. "Alright, fine. I'll follow your plan." You spoke up. This was hard for you, could bring up one of your memories but at least this time you had someone to rely on. The thought of it relaxed you a little.

"Great, now I just have to—”

As Ciel stood up from his seat, you turned your head to the door behind you, seeing it opening. "Excuse me, young master. Lady Elizabeth has arrived." Sebastian came through, putting a hand to his chest.

Ciel sighed and nodded, "Yes, ... That. You can leave, Y/n." You quickly stood up, waiting for him to leave before you walked out. "I'm looking forward to working this case with you, kitten." Sebastian lightly chuckled, trailing behind you. You silently grumbled, muttering utter nonsense under your breath.

"You know damn well how the main reason for the case shook me. You think I want it?!" You snapped your head to him, having your tracks. Sebastian did not let out another word, knowing your attitude.

As you arrived at the foyer, you saw a girl about the same age as Ciel. Blonde hair in pigtails, pink dress that would burn your eyes. She ran towards Ciel the second she saw him, pulling him into a bone-crushing hug.

"Oh! Ciellll! I've missed you so much." She squealed, pressing her cheeks on Ciel's. Ciel expressed a tired look as he grabbed her shoulders, pulling her off. "You're early, Lizzie."

"Of course, I don't want to be late to have a date with my fiance!" Elizabeth chanted, clasping her hands and pressing them to her cheek. You raised your brows in shock at her words. "Oh, good lord. They're betrothed?!" You watched the scene in disarray, looking up at Sebastian.

"Elizabeth Midford. I'm surprised you didn't know." He replied, glancing at you. You tensed when Elizabeth let out another squeal, now facing at you.

"I didn't know Ciel have a new maid!" Elizabeth slides her way to you as you put up a worried smile. "She's cute!" She said as she reached her hand up, pinching your cheek.

Oh dear lord please make her stop...

Sebastian put his hand under his lips, lightly chuckling as he watched you. You frowned, sending daggers to him. You chuckled uneasily, slowly stepping away from her as she finally stopped. "I... I've heard about you, Lady Elizabeth. Y/n, please to meet you." You started, Elizabeth waved her hand in denial. "Call me Lizzie, please!" She insisted. She took your hand, pulling you with her as she scurried towards Ciel.

"Oh, Ciel! Please let her come with us!" Lizzie begged him. Ciel looked at you, searching for some kind of answer. You simply shrug at him, not wanting to get involved. Eventually, he sighed and granted his fiance's wish.

As Lizzie jumped in joy, you stared at her with tired eyes. She took Ciel as they walked out to the terrace. Sebastian walked by you, placing a hand on your waist. "Well, kitten. I don't mind having the first date with you." The words made you flinch as you moved away from him. "Something wrong?"

You stared at him with wide eyes, mouth partly open. "No... I... Nevermind." Sebastian offered his arm, you hesitated but you loop your arm around him in the end.

Your eyes wandered around the city of London as you guide the young couple on their day. You lazily followed them behind, kicking small pebbles on your way.

"Y/n..." You heard Sebastian called you. Turning around, he had a pleasant smile on his face like he always does. "I know you're probably not the flowery type, but you are worth it," Sebastian said shortly, he then pulled out a rose from behind him, handing it to you.

You felt yourself blushing, your heart warmed at his action. As much as you hated to admit, he brought out a different side of you, one that you buried for years. His soft side enlightened you, and it brought a smile to your face. You gladly took the flower from his hands, the aroma of it brought bliss to your nostrils.

Giggling, you looked up at him, "... Thank you." You never expected your life would fall to this. You didn't know even if you deserve this or what did you do to deserve this. Or was it because you were just scared? Scared to step into this new path.
