You put the last plate you just finished washing aside and continued to wash your hands. The crystal clear water ran down, washing the invisible blood in your hands, or was the blood just your imagination?

You kept brushing, rubbing your hands together, trying to clean them off. You shut your eyes as your jaw tightened. Your actions a few weeks ago still pecking at the back of your head. You continued to wash the imaginary blood off, a few raspy breaths escaped your lips.

Your mind was too clouded with your thoughts as you didn't realize a pair of arms slithered along with yours. Turning off the faucet, they cupped your hands on theirs. "It's not your fault," Sebastian whispered to your ear as he pressed his body against yours. You whimpered a breath, hanging your head low.

He caressed the skin of your hands, whispering you sweet nothings. Though you didn't want to admit it, his touch was quite relaxing. You heavily sighed, throwing your head back to his shoulder as he pressed his cheek to yours. "I can't... Wash it off..."

Sebastian shushed you, embracing you tighter. "Don't blame yourself..." He said, turning you around. He lifted your face, forcing you to look at him. "I have something to cheer on up," he beamed, cupping your cheeks. You raised your brows, "What?"

In a blink of an eye, you felt something cold to your neck. Sebastian hooked a necklace to you as you pressed a finger to it. Your eyes lit up at the small bronze flower on it. You let out a short giggle, "So is this a peace offer after what you did?" You gazed back at him. He breathed out of his nose, "You can say that."

You bit the insides of your lip, looking down at the necklace. "No one ever gives me such gifts... Thank you." You thanked him, brushing a hand to his cheek. He took your hand, lightly kissing it before he twirled you, leaving a short kiss on your lips.

You moved to the garden as you promised Finny to help while he was in the glasshouse. You enjoyed this, this would distract you from all your guilt. You tried to find peace until a certain voice cracked you up.

"Hello, my lovelies~"

God, you knew that voice too well. You released a frustrated sigh as Grell approached you. "What are you doing here?" However, Sebastian beat you to it as he walked up to you. You turned to Grell as he frowned angrily. He pulled you on his side, looking at Sebastian. "Bassy! How could you?!" He shouted, pointing to Sebastian as he raised his brow.

"What's this?" You said, pulling Grell's hair as he yelped. He turned back to you, stopping his feet. "Oh, you should've seen the record of that circus girl I saw! You know he was—"

"What? Him putting his hands on her? I know that already." You ushered him away, continuing your work. Though he let out another whine as he pulled you again. "No, not just that. He bed her!" Your shoulders flinched at his words as you snapped your head. "Oh, he did? Did he?" You stared at Sebastian as he looked somehow terrified.

You frowned sadly at him, not believing he lied to you. "Is that really why you're here?" You asked Grell calmly. He noticed your sudden change of mood.  "Yeah... Because I wanted you to know."

You shook your shoulder and nodded towards him. "Yeah? Well, thanks." A few words later, you bid your goodbyes as he fled the scene.

"Well... Kitten... I suppose you—"

"Are you serious?" You asked tiredly, looking at him. You tilted your head, disappointed. Sebastian shut his mouth, staring at you. He reached a hand to you but you moved away. "Don't try to be soft with me. You're lying to me?" You let out a breath.

Sebastian looked at you in a rather apologetic way. "I... I didn't. I just didn't tell you that one." He reasoned. You shook your head, walking off. "You are unbelievable." You muttered before you sprinted back inside. You didn't want to glance at him, he disappointed you the second time.

At night time, you had finished all your duties for the day. And Sebastian... Let's just say he'd never waste a second to get you to talk. Just as you were taking a turn, he appeared in front of your door. "Y/n, please..."

Dumb excuse

You frowned, walking past him. Sadly, he gripped your arm. "Please, let me talk to you." You huffed a breath, giving him a second chance.

Sebastian stood straight, clearing his throat, "If you want me to repeat what I said back at the townhouse then I'd be willing to. I sincerely apologise for everything, again. I hurt you, I lied to you, and it's stupid for me to deny it." He spoke up. You crossed your arms and shrugged, "Actually, I'm kinda enjoying this now."

You grinned, soon he mirrored your expression. "Sure you are," He smirked, leaning down to you as he captured your lips. You melted into his touch, unfortunately. "So, do you forgive me?" He said as you replied, "...Maybe..." You let out a gasp when he suddenly picked you up, "What are you doing?!"

"Something I've been wanting to do for a while." He chuckled as he opened the door to your room. He spent the night with you as the hours went by.
