As much as you didn't want to admit it, Kelvin was starting to frighten you with his madness. All along, He never stopped talking about what happened to Ciel in the place years ago that now he recreated. Ciel seemed to be intimidated, his memories unfolding in his mind. You understood him, sadly.
"I've prepared everything just as it was back then," Kelvin spoke, he grinned and opened his arms, gesturing to the room. He wheeled around the room, pointing out every detail. He turned back to Ciel, pointing to him.
"The ritual chamber...the lambs... and finally... You, My lord!" With that words of his, Ciel fired his gun, blood spilt out of Kelvin's stomach. He gasped a breath, holding his wound as he fell off his chair. You watched the scene with wide eyes, taking a step back.
Your eyes darted to Joker and Dawn as they screamed out, "Father!!" Joker managed to get off Sebastian's grip. He ran towards Ciel, pulling out a sword from his prosthesis hand. He aimed towards Ciel but Sebastian slashed off his arm before he could reach him. Joker shrieked in pain as he toppled over.
"JOKER!" She screamed. She ran after him but you moved quickly. You yanked her wrist, twisting her arms behind her, holding her back. She let out a pained cry as you pushed her against a pillar.
I the corner of your eye, Kelvin crawled to Ciel and held his feet. "I- I beg you, Earl. If you're going to kill me, kill me like you-" Ciel shut him by tossing his head and stepping on it. He narrowed his eyes, pointing the gun to his head.
Dawn struggled under your grip but she managed to face Ciel, "Please don't kill him. He may be like that, but he saved us. All of us!" She whimpered, her voice shaking.
Ciel didn't seem to care, he looked back at her, "So that's why you kidnapped these children?..." He paused, turning down to Joker, "Only to obey this man's orders?" Joker breathed a gasp and dropped his head in shame. He silently whispered, "Yes." Acknowledging Ciel's words.
"People like us, Britain is nothing short of hell. But Father found us." Dawn spoke up, fighting back her cries. Hearing her words made your brows knitted. Somehow, you felt bad for these people... Because they were like you. Your grip loosened as you thought about her words. If what they were saying were true, you could relate. Joker slammed his fist to the marble floor, "We know we were wrong from the beginning,-"
"You did the right thing," Ciel interrupted his words. "Huh?"
"There are two kinds of people in this world. Those who steal and those who got stolen." Ciel paused, holding his gun up, "And today, I steal you and your allies of the future." Ciel raised his head, his blue eye shining from the light. You could feel the tension got thicker until Joker suddenly lied on his back and laughed hysterically.
"You guys will lose something tonight. The troops are on their way to that manor of yours." Joker spoke out, putting his hand on his abdomen. You raised a brow at his words, letting him continue. "And they will take down those servants." He finished.
"You mean the Phantomhive servants," you grinned. "Who else?!" Dawn barked, nudging you behind. Ciel was the first one to let it a sublet laugh before Sebastian joined. You followed them soon, "What's so funny?" Joker asked, glancing at you.
"Those 'servants' are more than you think." You put up a small sinister grin. "You underestimate them. Then that is your biggest mistake." You chuckled once more, seeing the fears on their faces.
"For those are the servant of the Phantomhive family," Ciel warned Joker that the servants of the Phantomhive house were practically a small army, capable of eradicating intruders. Concerned, Joker quietly wished that at least the first-tier members of Noah's Ark Circus would wonder what could have been done differently. You felt Dawn shaking under your grip as she silently cried.
