"Interesting," Claude smirked at what he had witnessed. Sebastian froze for a while, processing what he had seen. He was lying if he said he didn't felt a wince in his heart, seeing the memories of his beloved.
He clicked his tongue, throwing his head back, hitting the other male. He could feel his blood boiling even more- if that was even possible. He moved over, grabbing the demon sword before Claude could. His hands gripped onto the handle as a dark aura spread around him.
He moved forward, bringing the sword. He moved so quick that even Claude was lost. He tried to escape, kicking the ground as he there himself to the air.
Sebastian was quick to move. He jumped after him, a growl escaped his mouth as he stabbed the demon sword at him, taking his revenge. Claude gasped a breath, gripping onto the sword. He fell to the ground, blood trailing down his lips.
Sebastian landed not far from him, dropping the sword. "You should've listened to my warning." He growled. His eyes narrowed, clenching his teeth. He didn't bother to do anything about him and sprinted off to the other two.
His heart shrunk, seeing her so pale and lifeless. Caroline brushed a hand to her face, "Y/n L/n. In January 1888. I hereby declare that your life on earth has ended." She stated, marking Y/n's page as 'Completed'
Sebastian's gaze darkened. Picking her up in his arms, he thought for the only thing he could do. Caroline felt his intentions, even she was somewhat frightened by the demon's energy.
"You broke a rule... Why?" Sebastian asked the Grim Reaper, eyes not leaving his lover. "... She... she reminded me of myself when I was younger." She replied weakly. She felt his energy decreasing, figuring he had something in his mind.
"I'm sorry. I should have stepped in sooner." She mumbled silently. "No. It's not your fault."
Sebastian brought Y/n's head to him, nuzzling on her hair, feeling her scent. "I know what to do." He said, heavily. Caroline knew what he meant. "She wouldn't like that."
Sebastian nodded sadly, "... I know." His gaze on Y/n softened, knowing how she would have him for life when she knew.
"I know..." He repeated, pressing a kiss to her cold forehead.
From afar, Sebastian saw Hannah approached Claude's body. Glancing at him for a second, she grabbed the sword and his body with her as she went off.
"What about her?" Caroline asked, seeing the Flower demon escaped. "She won't do much."
Caroline sighed tiredly, "You'll take care of her, would you?" She questioned, looking up at the taller male. "Of course," he replied, holding Y/n close to his heart, giving her as much heat she needed.
"I know what to do."

Possibly the shortest chapter by far. Anywho, I have finally finished rewriting their story! Damn, that was long.
Of course, I'll continue with the second book. I'll do a quick sweep through this book again, see if I still make some errors and stuff.
Other than that, thank you very much for your attention towards the book.
Don't forget about the second book!
