A shiver ran down your spine as a million thoughts flew to your mind. Walking down the hallway had never been so silent. You didn't know why you did but you decided to meet Sebastian as he said. You had negative thoughts, but you shook them off. He wouldn't do something like that, would he?
You hesitated as you arrived at his door. You reached a hand up, lightly knocking on his door. To your surprise, there was no response. You turned your head left and right, deciding on what to do. You sighed before eventually reaching the doorknob, turning it and opening the door.
His room was exactly how you imagined. Neat and tidy, as if nothing was ever touched. His bed didn't even have a single crinkle, it looked like it was never even used. Well, of course, considering the fact he was a demon and creatures as such didn't need one.
"You're early." Sebastian's voice caused you to jumped slightly as you turned back to him. "I swear I will kill you someday for doing that!" You stomped your feet, scowling at him. He merely chuckled as he closed the door behind him. You raised a brow and crossed your arms on your chest. "So? I'm here. What is it?"
"What will you say if I ask you to be my soulmate?"
Your body froze at his question. Your smile slowly faded, your lips parting a little. You blinked a couple of times, processing his request. "Wh- wait- Soulmate? But... Isn't th-that like... Demon marriage...?" You let out a shaky breath, looking up at him, only to see him smiling.
"It's almost the same. It's for me to mark you to be mine and only mine. And I want you to be mine, kitten." He responded calmly, grabbing my hands and kissing them softly. You were blushing the entire time, unsure of what to do. You kept staring at him as you considered his request. At least he asked for your permit.
But you didn't know how to respond. You were even still trying to adjust to the new feelings you acquired. And soulmate? You weren't sure. But putting all that aside, your eyes were locked onto his red ones. In a way, you felt safe around him. He never harmed you, not even once. He prevented them for you. He made you feel safe, warm and comfortable. And you loved him for that.
You didn't know how long you stood there ahead of him. He knew his question would shock you and he was willing to wait. You looked down, thinking about what should you say when he suddenly put his fingers under your chin. He gently pulled your chin up, forcing you to look at him. And you were lost in his eyes.
You moved your lips slowly, answering him. "I... " If you were honest, you wanted to accept him. But you didn't know the words to describe the feeling. You loved him, yes, but you weren't sure. You were afraid.
Then, as if he was reading your mind, he spoke up, breaking the silence. "You needn't fear me, Y/n. I won't harm you, physically and mentally. I promise." He kissed your hands once more as you fixed an answer.
"... I... Yes..." You stammered, clutching onto his shirt. He smirked, leaning down as he slowly pressed his lips onto yours. You closed your eyes, slithering your arm around his neck. He put a hand on the small of your back, closing the gap between you.
Slowly, he lifted you in his arms, resting you on his bed. He trailed his kissed down your neck, giving you small love-bites as you let out a squeal. "You're beautiful... This will hurt a little..." You blushed at his words as he pulled down the sleeve on your shoulder. Grazing his teeth along the way, he bit the flesh of your upper arm. He sucked a bit of the blood, creating a mark on your skin, marking you as his. He looked back at you, eyes pink, filled noting but lust and love.
"Do you want this?" He asked for your consent. Your face grew redder as you nodded. "I want you, Sebastian." You answered. He breathed out his nose, pressing his forehead to yours.
"Well, then, kitten. You should know." He breathed out, crawling up to you, trapping you under him. "You've unlocked my inner beast."
