A week went by briefly and just as quick as that, you had adjusted yourself here. The other servants took you in as if you're family. You hadn't felt something like that in a long time. It made you smile.
Now even though you're reckless and you'd like to call yourself a badass, Sebastian would sometimes make you feel uneasy, whenever you're around him. You hated to admit it, but you fell in love with the butler. Subtle but, you were honest. Though you hoped to hell he didn't share the same feeling so that you could ignore the sliding feelings you had for him. It wasn't just because of his handsome self, it was the way he acted towards you. He was soft, gracious, and charming. Not to mention how the first time he greeted you.
And now here you were, sitting on a chair as Sebastian held a book in his hand. Just as Ciel's deal, you agreed to learn some appropriate behaviour. "Right... Now, pretend I am a guest of honour and asking for the restroom, what would you say?"
"Find it yourself, this is not my house." You spat, crossing your arms. Sebastian sighed, tired of all your mockery. "Look, I don't give a shit about whatever this is. But I know how to behave." You scoffed at him, waving your hands in the air. Sebastian shook his head, raising his brow, "You're not even sitting properly, Y/n."
You blinked at that, looking at yourself. You were sitting normally, at least that was what you thought. One leg over another, resting on your other knee. "Fine." Putting down your leg, you sat up straight.
"Why am I the only one here? It's like you're my kindergarten teacher or something." You shrugged, leaning back. Sebastian slammed his book shut, putting it down on the table. "No, when the other three firstly arrive here, I had to teach them some things too." His voice was rigid, completely done with you.
"Are you always like this?" He shifted past me, putting jus hands on his back. "Hm. Depends on who I'm talking to." You crossed your arms on your chest, following his figure. He sighed heavily before turning back to you.
"It seems impossible to..." He paused looking for some words to describe you. Eventually, he gave up. "... You." He sighed once more, pinching the bridge of his nose. A smile formed on your face for winning.
"Just... Watch your mouth when there are guests around." He spoke desperately. You snickered and shrugged. "You're the boss. So we're done here?" You kept playing up your sassy demeanour to not let yourself tremble before him. You knew he was always... Seductive towards you and with your slight feeling for him, that wasn't helping.
"Yes. You may leave." Jumping up from your seat with a satisfied grin, you skidded out the door he opened for you. "Thank you,"
Sebastian's eyes never left your figure as you walked down the hall. He chuckled to himself, wondering how could someone like you simply caught his heart. Same as you, he never felt as things called love.

As you made your way around the kitchen, you got closer to the servants as they chatted with you. "You were a soldier?" You asked Baldroy as he nodded at you.
"Not something I can be proud of. But hey, at least I'm found useful here." He grinned, showing his teeth. You let out a subtle laugh and helped him cook. "What about you?"
You halted for one second, shaking your mind off of your dark thoughts. You grinned a goofy grin, "Oh, I'm nothing special. Though I may have more cooking experience than you do."
"Oh-ho! Is that a challenge?!" He grinned, pointing the kitchen knife in his hand to you.
"If you say it!" You snickered along with him as he twirled a knife in his fingers. "We'll see about that—”
"Okay, enough, you two." Sebastian suddenly appeared at the door, sucking all the fun out. Your smile faded as he stepped inside. "Boss! Sorry, we were just goofing around." Bard jolted when Sebastian glared at him. You silently groan at how he immediately killed the mood.
"Why don't you grab some herbs from the garden? I'll handle the cooling for tonight." Sebastian clasped his hand together, holding up a small smile. "Uhh... Okay?" Bard said, nervously. He slowly walked off the kitchen as if he was intimidated by the boss.
"Way the go, mood-killer." You snapped, focusing on your cooking. Sebastian walked beside you, continuing where Bard left. "What?"
You let out a huff of breath, shaking your head at his obliviousness. "What? Look, it's been a while since I had fun. And you stormed in, knocking it off." You taunt, putting a hand to your hip. Sebastian peered over you, his lips formed a thin line.
"Have you now?... Sorry, I just..." You looked up at him, waiting for his next words. He didn't want to admit it, but he wanted to get closer to you while you kept pushing him away.
"What?" You nagged him. He let out a subtle breath, smiling at you, "Nevermind...."
You stared at him in confusion, shrugging it off. "Whatever..."
"Though I have to ask you one... If you don't mind?" He spoke up. You sighed and continued to chop some vegetables, "Spit it."
"Did anyone ever... Touch you... Non-consensually?" The question made stiffened for one moment. Your eyes widened as a flash of memory came across your mind. You dropped the knife, putting a hand to your forehead.
"Sorry, you don't have to—”
"No, it's fine..." You sighed shakily, putting down your hand. You breathed before having the courage to answer him. You shut your eyes tight, erasing images of Claude Faustus off your mind. You despise him with all yourself if anyone were to ask what was one thing you regret most, accepting his offer was the answer.
"He didn't... Well... He just... Put his hands around me... He didn't go any further." You shivered at your own words. You shook your head, waving off the thought.
"Can we not talk about this... Please?" You breathed shakily, hanging your head low, putting your hands on the table. "Of course, forget I asked." Sebastian was concerned, reaching a hand to your shoulder, but he recoiled, figuring you wouldn't need it right now.
"Also, one more thing." You lazily looked up at him, only to see him holding up a smile. "The manor would sometimes be visited by some 'uninvited guest', so when that happens, try not to lose yourself." He said, voice ringing with demand. You tilted your head at that, "Hm. Fine by me."
Though the next few minutes felt awkward, you liked the feeling. "Oh, and one thing. Hate to say it but... I'm glad I accepted your offer." You grinned a little, one which he replied with a small chuckle.
"Is that so?"
You shrugged, looking up to him, "Hey, mate, I ha—” you stopped mid-sentence when you met his face, inches from you. A faint blush crept onto your cheeks for how close you were. "Yes?" He smirked. You sealed your lips, taking a few steps back. "No— nevermind." You mentally cursed for easily getting flustered by someone of your kind.
