Finally in the Book of Circus. There are so many things I wanna fix

***

Sebastian, as usual, gathered all of you by the kitchen, giving you specific tasks for today. For today was the visit of Cedric Brandel, the man Ciel talked about a few weeks earlier. You crossed your arms on your chest as you leaned against a counter, listening to what he was about to say.

Sebastian turned to Meyrin first and said, "Meyrin, you take care of the laundry room!" Mayrin perked up at his demand, giving him a salute. Next, he turned to Finny, "Finny, for you, the glasshouse. And take care of the roses!" He ordered easily one which Finny replied with an excited nod. As the other two left to do so, Bard was next, "Bard, I leave the bread dough on you!" Sebastian spoke, glancing at him. "Right away, boss!"

"Tanaka... please take it easy." Sebastian faced Tanaka, who was in his mini form, drinking a cup of tea. "Also, we're expecting guests for tonight," Sebastian added, putting his hands behind his back. You hummed in response as Bard exclaimed, "Then, I, The chef, will make my special dinner-" Sadly, Sebastian cut him off before he could speak further. "Therefore, you three please stay quietly out of sight, and don't do anything uncalled-for." He ordered, handing Bard a rolling pin. Bard grinned hesitantly, taking the pin from his hands.

"Us three?! But you let Y/n?" Bard complained, gesturing to you. You casually shrugged, stepping forward, "No, but for real, believe me, you all should stay out... I mean it." You spoke up, eyes narrowing at them. They starred at you, confusion visible on their faces until Sebastian clapped his hands. "Right, to your stations!"

As the afternoon came by, you helped him select the decorated dish for tonight. He picked out a few sets of plates, setting them all out on the table. "First, the dish selection. We'll use playful, colorful Herend dinnerware," He picked up a plate, examining it. You raised a brow at his action, cutting off his words, "Do you always speak like that?" Crossing your arms on your chest, you looked up at him. He looked back at you, "I said what's need to be said." was his response. "Need? Wha—... No one wants to know where a bloody dish plate came from." You frowned, wondering why nobles had to eat with such fancy plates. "We're gonna kill this guy anyway so why bother?" You shrugged, walking over the table to inspect the plates.

"Alright, alright. Help me clean the silverware if that would make you quiet." You threw up your hands, giving him assistance.

"Well, that was pretty draining," You pat your hands together, clearing the dust. Sebastian looked at you over his shoulder, "The important thing is they're all settled." as he continued walking. "As settled you mean dead." You scoffed, looking out the window. You calculated how many of Cedric's men you took down together with Sebastian, there were more than you'd expected.

"And do please, dear. Don't bother me while I do my work." Sebastian said, looking back at you this time. You dramatically put your hand to your chest and tilted your head. "Uh! Me? You're the one who wants me to stick around you! That's why you shouldn't. Because I'm gonna bother you..." You decided that this time, it was you who tease him. You wanted to see if he fell for it.

You tiptoed up to his shoulder, the pads of your fingers travelled up to his nape, as you whispered to his ear, "...in any way possible." You smirked at his sudden change of face. You remembered how you teased him whilst he was taking care of the enemies. Sebastian stiffened for a couple of seconds before he turned his head to you slowly.

"Oh? Is that so?" He playfully smirked. You didn't realize that slowly, he backed you against the wall. "Well, let me tell you something, love." He put a hand over your shoulder as you had a small amount of regret on pushing his buttons like that. He flushed his body to yours, so close that you could hear his pocket watch ticking under his coat.

"If it wasn't because of this work I have today, I would take care of you, very, gently. Or maybe even tonight." He seductively whispered to your ear, immediately sending shivers down your spine as your eyes widened. You blushed a light pink as he pressed his soft lips to you, his gloved fingers grabbing your face.

Shortly, he pulled away as you let out a disappointed groan. "Goodness, what time is it? We must hurry," He said as if nothing happened. He checked his pocket watch before shutting it close once more. "Come now, our guests shall arrive soon." He shot you a look and proceeded on his path.

You let out a huff of breath, throwing your head back, "I am never doing that again," you said to yourself, thinking how you tease him only for him to counter you back.

"Cedric Brandel. Pleased to make your acquaintance." The guest said, offering his hand for Ciel to shake. He took his hand as Cedric bent over slightly to reach his for Ciel was shorter. Another pair of guests came by, Lau and Ran Mao, you believed their name was.

"I've had a dinner prepared for us. This way, please." Ciel pleaded, gesturing for them to walk down the hall. As you open the grand door of the dining hall, Sebastian greeted them by opening a bottle of champagne, the popping sound rang to the room.

"Oh, how lovely." Cedric praised his work as Sebastian began pouring the sparkling liquid from the top of the mountain of glasses, you watched as the champagne flowed from top to bottom, filling every glass there were.

"G-Good evening, yes! Here are some hors d'oeuvres..." Meyrin, to your surprise, came in from the back door to the kitchen, a tray of the main dish on her hands. The only problem was she was shaking, like visibly shaking. You looked back at her as she accidentally tripped on her shoelaces. You let out a small gasp as the tray on her hands flew all the way to the mountain of glasses of champagne, wrecking the whole set.

In an instant, Sebastian threw the bottle that was in his hand up and managed to catch all of the glass before any of them could reach the ground. He even got all the champagne back to the glasses, not even a single drop of it wet the neat carpet. You worked on your quirk, reaching up for the tray of food and the bottle. You caught each one of them in your hands, wobbling a little in your landing. You were impressed with yourself for how the food was not ruined.

"What just happened?" Cedric questioned. It all happened so fast that they barely knew what came to pass. Sebastian hurried beside you, taking the tray from your hand as he bowed slightly to the guests.

"Pardon me. This brand is a bit on the bubbly side, so we've given it a nice decanting." Said Sebastian. You saw Merin picked herself up, sneaking back to the kitchen to not catch any other's eyes. "Please have a seat. I'll give it to you soon."

"Good show! You'd leap to stardom in any acrobatic troupe." Lau started, walking over to Sebastian, patting on his shoulder.

Sebastian merely chuckled, putting a hand to his chest. "Me, a star? I am merely one hell of a butler." You stuck your tongue out at those significant words of his, getting tired of him saying it over and over again. You trailed behind him as the night continued and you were relaxed that everything was going according to plan.
