Chapter 15: Death

"Shit, shit, shit," I repeat as I knock everything over looking for something that can help. I start breathing really heavily and I can feel my legs getting weak. I sit down for a second then Zoe and Liv burst in the room.
"BRIANNA HELP HIM," Zoe yells at me.
"I-I-can't-do anything," I say taking large breathes in between my words.
"Zoe we have to help him, Brianna needs her medicine if she breathes to fast it'll kill her," Liv explains.

Liv's POV
"Liv, what do I do?" Zoe asks me.
"I don't know there's nothing we can do," I reply.
"He's dying though, we have to help him," she says crying.
"You're right, but we can't do anything, we don't have the stuff to help him," I explain.
"Kill...him," Brianna says quietly.
"No, never," Zoe says as she wipes a tear off her cheek. I pull Zoe into the hallway and shut the door.
"Zoe, I know this is hard for you, my boyfriend attacked me and Jc then I watched diesel bash his head into the floor with a bat," I explain.
"You don't understand, I can't lose him," she exclaims as she cry's even more.
"Zoe he's going to die either way, would you rather have him suffer to death or be put out of his misery," I tell her.
"Think about it," I say as I walk back into the room.

Zoe's POV
I sit against the lockers and tuck my face into my knees. I know that Liv is right, I just don't want him to die, I know my choice won't really change anything except for a quicker and less painful death. I don't want this at all, but I think it needs to happen, he's suffering to much and I know what I would want. I stand up to go in the room and see noodle outside of the student lounge.
"Hey, Zoe, what's wrong?" he asks jogging over to me.
"It's Lashawn, he's suffering and we think it be best to just, kill him," I explain.
"What, no, don't I have a say in this?" He asks upset.
"Lashawn is dying, he needs it to stop and that's the only way, I'm sorry," I claim.
"This is bullshit, you can't kill my best friend," he argues.
"Noodle I-," I stop talking due to him walking off. I walk into the room and see Liv comforting Brianna and Lashawn laying on the bed barely moving.
"Liv, just do it," I tell her as another tear goes down my cheek.
"Are you sure?" she asks me.
"Yes, just get it over with," I reply crying even more. I leave the room and a little after Liv leaves and goes into the student lounge. She walks out with Brianna's gun.
Krista walks out, after them, and walks up to me.
"Hey what's going on?" she asks.
"We're going to kill Lashawn," I reply crying a lot more.
"Why?" she asks.
"Because we can't let him suffer anymore," I explain. Right as I finish my sentence, we hear a gun shot, it wasn't loud because it has a silencer. I immediately start crying hysterically.
"I'm never going to see him again, I'm never going to get to cuddle him anymore, and I chose this," I tell myself crying.
"Go find noodle," I add.
"But," she stutters.
"Just do it, he needs somebody," I demand. She walks away and I sit down and cry.

Krista's POV
I go to the gym and just as I thought noodle was in there. He wasn't playing basketball though, he was sitting on the bleachers.
"Hey, are you ok?" I ask.
"No, they want to kill my best friend," he replies.
"Noodle, they....they already did," I explain.
"What?" He asks as he stands up.
"Calm down, it's already done, he was suffering," I tell him.
"Were you apart of this?" he asks me.
"No, of course not, I just found out, but I heard the shot," I explain. He runs out of the gym and I'm pretty sure he's going to see Lashawn. I run after him and go into the room. Lashawn is laying on the bed and bloods all over the pillow.
"Say your goodbyes, because I'm going to put him outside soon," diesel says.
"Ya, just get out," noodle tells him. I'm kind of confused, because that was a huge bipolar turn.
"Fine," diesel says as he walks out.
"I don't even know what to do, there's nothing I can do, he's already gone, I wasn't even included on diesel killing him, this is bullshit he shouldn't have been killed, I should've been included on the decision making," he argues as he pushes the door open. I stay in the room. I hear a bunch of noises and peak my head out of the door. Noodles just hitting a bunch of lockers and cussing everybody out. I walk out and pull him into the hallway where nobodies staying.
"Noodle listen, I get that you're mad, but you need to calm down, you're freaking everybody out and you're not making Zoe feel any better," I explain.
"What about me, what about me feeling better," he replies.
"I know, but we can't change what already happened, you know that," I exclaim. He just looks to his right and rests his head against the wall.
"We're all going to die here, just like Lashawn or Lyle or Mary," he explains.
"There's nothing that's going to change that," he adds.
"I know noodle, but you have to at least try, don't you think?" I ask him.
"Krista, think, even if we do get past the freaks, there's people at Keller chemical who want to kill everybody," he argues.
"You have to try, you can't just decide that because there is people who want to kill us, we're going to die," I disagree.
"Honestly, I don't know, I really have nothing left except you and maybe Zoe," he replies.
"No you have everybody that's here, we need to help each other because if we all don't have trust then we'll all die," I tell him. He takes a deep breathe and sits down.
"We should go back to the group," I offer.
"Plus if I don't get back and sit down I'm going to have another seizure, I'm surprised I didn't when I ran," I add.
"Oh great, now you might die," he exclaims.
"It'll be fine somebodies going to get the actual medicine," I tell him.

Noodle's POV
As Krista turns the corner, I decide that I should probably walk her back to the room just in case.
"HEY KRISTA WAIT UP," I yell to her. Damn how is she already at the end of the hall. She turns around to look at me then all of the sudden she starts shaking violently and falls to the floor.
"Oh shit," I say.
