Chapter 28: The Bad Guys

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" Olli shouts as he rips the signal from my hand.
"I can't stay here," I answer as I run out of the room.

Olli's POV
"Shit," I tell myself.
"Shit, shit, shit," I add running my fingers through my hair. I fling my door all the way open and stomp down the hall.
"Olli, are you ok?" A girl asks me.
"Where's Chase?" I ask her.
"I think he's in the lab, why?" She asks. I start to walk away and down the stairs. I push the door open and see Briaunna sewing up Emmett's shot.
"Olli, this isn't the time," Chase says trying to push me out of the room.
"No, you need to know something, right now," I exclaim. He looks over at Emmett for a second before walking outside of the room with me following.
"This better be important," He groans.
"Keller chemical people are coming, and they're going to attack you guys and probably going to kill all of you, you guys need to leave or get ready to kill," I explain.
"What, how do they know where we are?" He asks.
"It's a long story but, Anka and I have always had a signal, that we can send out for help," I explain.
"I'm guessing, he hurt Damon to get him to send the signal but clearly his planned failed, but he somehow convinced him and Jason that they'll be protected to or something," I add.
"Who sent the signal?" He asks. Before I can answer the question we hear a loud gun shot come from the living room. Chase and I run into the living room and Zayn, Anka, and Jason are all standing in there with gas masks on and holding guns.
"Come on Olli, it's time to go," Anka says. Soon Sadie, Red, Jackie, Arian, and everybody else walk into the living room, some standing on the staircase, some standing in between the dining room and the living room, and some standing right outside the kitchen or lab.
"I'm not going," I tell them.
"Well I'm not staying, do you really want to be here, with these people who you don't know, instead of with your twin sister and parents," She explains.
"We're about to kill innocent people," I reply.
"If they came with us, they wouldn't die," She tries to convince them.
"Oh who are we kidding, me and you both know that anybody that goes with us, who isn't us, is going to die there," I claim.
"Fine don't go, just remember this place is going to be a bloodbath either way, and you'll be in it unless you leave with us," She explains.
"I rather be shot, then be the one shooting," I say.
"Before Keller gets here, I want to know who told these people that I'm the one who attacked Red, Sadie, and Damon," Zayn demands. I start to let my head fall for being the one to likely die for this reason.
"Really?" Zayn says as I look back up at him staring at me. As he walks over to me I see Anka slightly twitch.
"You're lucky that you're my way out of here," He whispers to me.
"But I know who really did it," He adds. He turns around and shoots Sadie in the stomach. As she falls back, onto the floor she starts gasping. As Red goes onto his knees, he starts to hold her. Everybody turns back towards Zayn.

Briaunna's POV
As I sprint over to Sadie, Red picks her up and carries her to the lab.
"You shot her," Anka says surprised.
"Snitches get stitches," He says. After looking over at Chase I look up at the staircase where Jackie and Arian are hiding behind Krista and Noodle.
"How about you guys just leave and tell your people we don't need war going on, we all want peace," Grover says.
"Oh shut it, we don't want your pity party, Keller is going to be here soon and there's no stopping them from killing you all, the only way you'll survive is by fighting. Looking around at everybody in the house, seeing everybody either upset or already crying.
"Then leave," Chase exclaims.
"Get out," He says a little louder than before.
"Get out of my house, right now," He says keeping a stare at the floor.
"You think you scare us or something," Jason says. Chase looks up at him before quickly raising his gun and shooting Jason's shin. As Jason falls to the floor screaming in pain Anka and Zayn raise there guns up to Chase. Then, Violet, Diesel, Grover, Jc, and Noodle raise there guns at them.
"Zayn, lets go to the roof, there is more of them than there is us," Anka says.
"You're just gonna leave me here," Jason says.
"Well I ain't carrying you," Zayn exclaims as he continues towards the roof. Olli starts to follow them after a second of them walking away.
"Olli, where are you going?" Chase asks.
"Either way, Keller is going to force me to go with them, it's better for you guys if they don't come inside to get me," He explains. As Zayn and them, continue upstairs, we hear loud wind gusts and a loud thump come from upstairs, more specifically, the roof.
"There here," Zayn says.
"Krista take the kids into the basement where we kept Zayn and them, Diesel, Grover, and anybody who has a gun and wants to fight hide somewhere and be ready, anybody else go hide somewhere safe," Chase explains.
"Briaunna, take Liv and Stefan and go protect Emmett, Damon, and Sadie," He tells me.
"Ok," I say as I go into the lab while Stefan follows behind me.
"Briaunna, what was going on out there?" Liv asks.
"Keller is back, with a bunch of people, they'll probably be coming inside," I say.
"We need to move the beds into that closet and that's where we'll hide," I explain.
"I'm staying outside the closet, I want to make sure nothing gets in there," Stefan says.
"Are you sure?" I ask. He nods his head before rolling Damon's bed into the closet.

Krista's POV
"Lets go all the way to the bathroom that's in here," I say trying to remain calm. I move Jackie, Max, and Arian into the room.
"Jamie come on," I say as she closes the door.
"No, I want to stay outside the bathroom to guard, just in case," She exclaims.
"No, I need to keep you safe, come on," I say.
"No, you don't tell me what to do," She argues. As I start to walk over to her, I pause to the sound of gun shots coming from upstairs.
"Jamie, now," I demand.
"I have to protect the little ones, they need to have a chance," She says.
"Jamie please," I beg.
"Krista, can you guys hurry up," Arian says as she walks out of the bathroom. All of a sudden the door swings open and a man starts rapid fire on us. I leap over trying to fall on top of Arian. I feel a cold stinging pain skin my side as I hit the floor on top of Arian. As I lay quietly hoping the man will think I'm dead, I start to feel wet, all over my stomach. Finally the man leaves and I hear the door creak shut. I sit up and look down at my stomach and it's covered in blood, but I don't feel hurt besides my side. I look down at Arian whos covered in blood as well.
"Arian?" I say. As my heart starts pounding I lift her shirt. I see a dark black red hole.
"No, no, no," I say. As I start freaking out and crying, I try and feel a pulse or see if she's awake or anything.
"Arian please," I say as I continue to bawl.
"I'm so sorry," I exclaim as I lay my head on her chest crying.
"Krista?" Jamie asks.
"Oh my god," She adds as she stands up. As gun shots continue to go on upstairs, and I continue to cry hysterically, Jackie pushes the bathroom door open.
"What happened," Jackie says.
"Jackie, don't look," Jamie tells her.
"I can't, I don't--" I say sitting up while still bawling.
"Krista, calm down," Jamie says.
"I- I can't, Arian- she needs help, Briaunna can help her," I say.
"Krista, stop," She tells me.
"I don't know what to do," I say as I place my face in my knees. As I continue to cry the gun shots finally stop. After sitting for a minute finally calm, Noodle opens the door.
"Are you guys ok?" He says. I run up to him and hug him.
"Wait, wait, you're bleeding," He says.
"It's not me," I say starting to cry again. He looks behind me and sees Arian.

Liv's POV
All of a sudden Stefan opens the door with the stress reliving words "It's over".
"Oh thank god," Briaunna says. As Briaunna and I walk into the living room we see some people lying on the floor dead and injured. I look over at Grover holding violet, who had seemingly been shot in the head.
"Did Sadie make it?" Red asks walking up to us.
"I'm sorry," Briaunna says.
"She's in the lab, if you want to say any goodbyes," She adds before Red runs into the lab. I look over at Noodle and the kids walking upstairs with Krista carrying Arian.
"What- what happened?" I ask. As Krista starts to cry, I fall onto my knees starting to cry.
"Arian," Briaunna says.

Briaunna's POV
I turn around and hug Chase starting to cry into his shoulder as Liv starts screaming in emotional pain.
"I'm sorry," Krista mumbles as a tear falls from each of her eyes.
