Chapter 21: Enemies

"What is this?" I ask angered.
"Shut up and get into the living room," she demands as she pushes me forward. As I start walking I see one go into the kitchen.
"Hey, leave her alone," I tell them.
"Don't make me shoot you," the girl says as she pushes me forward more. I hear a glass break in the kitchen.
"Please, see if she's ok," I tell the girl.
"If she's not, it's because she didn't cooperate," she replies as she pushes me into the living room. I see almost everybody sitting on there knees with there hands behind there heads. She puts me on the floor in the same position. A guy brings Brianna in after me and sits her down to. A guy enters the living room with Emmett.
"This one really fought," the guy says as he pushes Emmett on the floor.
"HEY, I'm sensitive," Emmett shouts as he stands back up. The people flinch back a little thinking he was going to charge at him and the girl puts her gun up at him out of reflex.
"WHO ARE YOU?" Diesel yells.
"Well, you're gonna die anyway," One of the guy says. I look around and see that none of the kids are here. Like max and Jackie and Arian. The girl who got me says her name is Anka, the guy who got Emmett says his name is Zayn.
"Zayn?" Violet asks looking at him with a smile.
"Violet?" He asks her with a straight face. He walks over and helps her up.
"What are you doing with these people?" He asks her.
"I don't know, I'm just happy to see you," she says as she hugs him. She looks at Emmett and winks at him. She quickly grabs Zayn's gun and pulls the trigger at another girl in the back.
"FELICITY," Zayn yells pushing Violet off him. Emmett gets up and charges at the Zayn but Anka shoots Emmett. Violet gets up and holds her gun to Anka as Brianna stands up and holds her gun to Zayn's head as he's crouched over to see if Felicity was ok. By now everybody was standing up and freaks started to smack the windows and doors because of all the loud gun shots.
"Anybody shoots these two go out," Brianna says. Anka has her gun towards me. I don't really care if I get shot because I have nobody and nothing to live for, and compared to dying from a freak or being shot in the head, I know what I'd prefer.
"You killed felicity," Zayn says to Violet.
"And you shot Emmett," Brianna argues.
"Liv, see if he's ok," Brianna adds. Liv runs over to Emmett and feels his pulse. As we all wait for her to give an answer, she sighs relief. Then Brianna and I do the same.
"This is how we're gonna do this so nobody else gets hurt," Brianna demands.
"Shut up, you don't pick what we do," Anka says.
"And you do?" Brianna asks.
"Technically Zayn does," Another guy from there side says.
"Who are you?" Krista asks.
"Oh, my names Red," he answers.
"And this is my friend Sadie, and Anka's twin brother Olli," He adds.
"Enough of that," Zayn says as he stands up.
"Get down or...or I'll shoot you," Brianna says hesitantly.
"Do it then," he says as he takes a small step forward.
"I will," she says.
"Do it....DO IT," Zayn yells.
"Stop moving," she demands.
"What do you guys even want?" Barrett asks.
"We're taking your house," Anka says.
"If you want somewhere to stay why can't you take any other house?" Diesel asks.
"Because every other house had at least one window open, but we knew this one didn't because it was vacant for years," Zayn replies.
"Look, if you promise that you wont kill anyone then you can stay here with us," I tell them.
"What?" Zoe asks.
"Chase," Brianna adds. They all look at each other. Most of them shake there head saying no.
"Fine, deal, we won't hurt anybody that's here as long as we can stay," he agrees.
"Zayn, what the fuck," Anka whispers to him.
"And we'll need your weapons, or no stay and we'll shoot you right now," I add.
"Ok, sure," Zayn answers. Liv walks up to Anka and lays her hand out.
"Gun, now," Liv demands. Anka angrily exhales and puts the gun in her hand. Grover takes everybody's gun and leaves the room. Diesel and I help carry Emmett into the test lab as Brianna follows behind us. As I lay him down on the table, diesel goes back into the living room.
"Make sure you put pressure on his wound," Brianna tells me.

Kc's POV
Jc, Diesel, and I grab Zayn, Red, and Olli to show them to there rooms, along with Grover grabbing the other two girls Sadie and Anka. As we walk down stairs Jackie, Arian, and Max run past us all.
"Hey, no horse play," I yell.
"Oookay," Jackie says as they all giggle.
"Cute kids," Anka says as we continue to walk down the hall.
"Yeah, well, you better not touch them," I say.
"Or anybody," Grover adds.
"Wouldn't want to anyway," She snarks.
"So Zayn, what's with you and Violet?" Grover asks as we come across the basement.
"We're dating, well not anymore I guess," He answers as we go inside the basement.
"Welcome to your new homes, there is the bathroom and there's water and soup in those cupboards," Diesel explains.
"Wait are we not aloud to leave?" Sadie asks.
"Nope," Diesel replies as he closes the door and locks it.
"We'll check in every day, ok," I tell them. As we wait and listen for them to say something snarky and annoying they're just silent.
"Hm," Jc hums.
"You think we can trust them?" Diesel asks as we start walking back down the hall.
"Hell no," Kc says.
"Yeah, definitely not," Grover adds as Jc nods his head no.
"I didn't think so," Diesel says as we start walking up the stairs.

Zayn's POV
"I can't believe you, way to screw up the plan," Anka says angered.
"Do you still have the tracker?" I ask her.
"Yeah, thank god they didn't go through our bags," she replies as she pulls it out of her backpack.
"Good," I answer as I sit down on the uncomfortable bed.
"It's not like we can even get to the helicopter now," she explains confused.
"True, but your friends can ambush the people upstairs and come down here to get us," I explain to the group.
"Nice," Olli says.
"I don't want to kill anybody," Red explains.
"Yeah, that's not what I'm here for, we're here to be rescued," Sadie agrees.
"These people are just like us, wanting safety and shelter," she adds.
"Ok then just think of it as the only way to be safe," I reply.
"Or we can become friends with these people and stay here until they trust us and then call Keller," Red offers.
"Ok well have fun letting them trust you guys, oh and if they find out about our little plan....I'll kill you both...got it?" I ask as I get up and whisper to the group.
"Got it," Sadie says upset.
"This stays between the five of us," he says as he lays back down on the bed.
"So, signal them," I demand.
