Chapter 30: Perspective

Zoe's POV
Krista, Noodle, and I are in the car, Krista's driving, I'm in passenger, and Noodle's in the middle back seat.
"This is the longest shopping list I've ever seen," I state.
"And there is a lot of alcohol on here too," I add.
"Hey, what's wrong with alcohol," Noodle replies.
"Nothing, unless it becomes a problem," I exclaim.
"Yeah, yeah sure," He says.
"How are we going to do this?" Krista asks.
"What do you mean?" Noodle asks.
"We can't just make a whole bunch of trips to the car and back, and we definitely can't pull carts full of groceries outside and take time loading the car," She explains.
"True," I agree.
"So what are we going to do about it?" She asks.
"We'll have to drive into the store," Noodle replies.
"Are you crazy?" I ask.
"No, it's the smart choice," Noodle explains.
"Maybe, he's right," Krista says.
"No, we can just park right by the doors, using the ambulance to block them and then load it since it'll be right there," I offer.
"Oh yeah, that's a better idea," Noodle agrees.
"Ok, got it," Krista replies.

Brianna's POV
Chase and I are on our way to the hospital, he's driving and I'm in passenger. As I twiddle my thumbs and continue to breath heavily, Chase notices.
"What's wrong?" He asks concerned.
"I'm so scared about what's going to happen to my brother," I explain.
"It'll be fine," He replies.
"See, but you're only saying that to make me feel better," I tell him.
"I know," He replies before looking at me and smiling.
"That's not funny," I state before he looks back at the road and chuckles.
"It's kind of funny," He exclaims.
"No, it's not," I reply looking out the window.
"Hey, I was kidding, for real though, I think they'll all make it back," He claims.

Red's POV
I'm sitting in the middle back without my seatbelt on, Grover's driving and Jc is in passenger.
"Do you guys think we'll make it out alive?" Jc asks nervously.
"I don't know, and I don't really care, the only person I care about doesn't feel the same way about me, I have nothing to go back too, but I still want to protect her," I explain.
"Well, I personally don't wanna die," Grover answers.
"But do you think we will?" Jc asks again.
"I think we might," I answer.
"I think there's a slight chance that one of the bombs could malfunction and go off, or blue suits catch us and kill us, or freaks could eat us, but besides that I think we'll be fine," Grover explains.
"Yep, I'm definitely having second thoughts about or little field trip," Jc replies.
"Too late, because we, my friend, are here," Grover states as he parks the truck.

Noodle's POV
We finally pull up to the store and Krista parks right against the door, lining it up with her car door.
"Gas masks on," She tells us before opening her door. Once we get in the store, we take our masks off and begin rummaging.
"I'll get the alcohol," I say as Krista and Zoe each grab a cart.
"No, we're all sticking together, now go grab a cart and lets get this over with," Krista demands.
"So demanding and rude," I reply as I grab a cart. She looks at me mad before I realize it and I suddenly feel scared for my life.
"I just want to get this over with and get the hell out of here," She explains.
"Me too," Zoe agrees.

Chase's POV
We quickly get into the hospital before I shut and lock the door.
"I'm going to go look for pills and needed medications, you go find more medical tape and gauze, stuff like that," Brianna explains.
"I think we should stick together," I argue.
"Well, ok then," She replies as we begin walking upstairs. As we occasionally reach out and grab medical things, we continue through, basically the entire hospital.
"I have a question," I tell her.
"What's up?" She asks.
"Do you even date anymore?" I ask.
"Like in a relationship?" She asks before grabbing a box of something off of a shelf.
"Yeah," I reply.
"I'm not really planning on it, no, why?" She asks and answers.
"I was just wondering," I lie.
"Okay," She replies as we continue down the top floor hallway.
"Do you think we got enough supplies?" I ask.
"Yeah, lets just head back, I don't wanna be out of the house when they set the bomb off," She explains before we decide to go.

Grover's POV
"Ok, here's the plan, we walk around the building and put a bomb against the front wall, side wall, and back wall of the right side of the building," I explain. Jc sighs before nodding his head.
"I'll take the front, Jc you take the middle and Red, you get the back," I add as we walk to the bed of the truck.
"Set it for 10 minutes, meet back at the truck," I finally finish.
"Well, if I don't make it, it was nice knowing you guys," Jc replies.
"You too," Red adds. We all split up and go to the walls. I quickly put the bomb down and set the timer for 10 minutes. Once I press start I begin sprinting back to the truck. As I'm sprinting a light shines on me.
"Shit," I tell myself before I begin running faster than I ever have. Suddenly, I hear a gunshot from behind me. I turn around and see Jc on the floor.
"GO," He shouts at me. As I look around I see Red crouching by the side of the building and a man pointing a guy at me from the roof.
"RUN," Jc adds as blue suits run outside. I continue running before I remember what he was saying in the truck and how much family and friends he'll be leaving behind.
"I can't," I say before turning around.
"What are you doing?" He asks me as I help him up.
"Saving you," I answer as Red runs over to us and helps me with Jc. They begin shooting us, a lot, before we fall. I feel my stomach as it's pouring blood everywhere. As I begin coughing, I shut my eyes and rest.
