Chapter 27: Threats

Liv's POV
"Oh no," I say as I walk over to him.
"Who did this?" He asks me.
"I don't know," I answer.
"Is that Damon?" He asks me.
"..Yes," I exclaim sadly.
"Is he dying?" He asks.
"I-I don't know," I say as my eyes get a little watery.
"Was it Zayn?" he asks.
"How do yo-" I say as I pause in confusion.
"I know that Brianna and Chase brought him and Jason down there with him, I overheard them talking, and I know that he attacked Red and Sadie because I heard them talking about it also," he explains.
"I don't know, you need to lay down, ok," I tell him.
"When you figure it out, tell me," He demands.
"Ok," I say.
"Liv, I need you," Brianna says.

Sadie's POV
I quietly close Olli's bedroom door after Red and I, while Stefan sneaks out.
"Did they let you leave the room?" I ask Olli as Red sits down on his bed.
"Yea, Chase said he trusts me," He answers.
"But Zayn wants me to send the signal," He adds.
"They said that the Keller chemical workers are killing people," I explain.
"I am a Keller, they won't kill me, or Anka," He says.
"Yea, you and Anka are, but Red and I aren't," I argue.
"If you send the signal and they come here, we aren't going with you," I say.
"Fine, but you'll regret it when you're all about to die," He says.
"Whatever, come on Red, lets go," I say before leaving his room.

Emmett's POV
It's been at least 5 minutes since Brianna left the room.
"Damon?!" I ask hoping he answers me with a "what" or something like that.
"Shit," I whisper to myself. I sit up and place my feet on the floor. I slowly lift my body off the bed and begin to stand. The first time I stood up (I believe) since I've been shot. My feet shake a bit before I almost fall back onto the bed but I get myself balanced.
"Damon," I say again as I walk over to him while holding my side where I was shot.
I look at him as he lays on the bed still. After looking at him for a couple more seconds I slowly walk into the hallway and grab the keys that Chase must've left behind before I walk upstairs to my room. As I open the door I look down at my hand holding my wound to see it's bleeding again. I quickly stumble over to my nightstand and grab my gun. I wobble down the hall and stairs and other basement hall. As I place the keys in the lock I start to see doubles. The door starts to creek open and I see Zayn start to stand up as Jason turns towards me.
"Emmett," Jason says calmingly.
"You killed my friend," I say as I raise my gun up to Zayn.
"Woah dude, you don't look to good," He claims.
"Now I'm- I- I'm going to kill you," I say before I start to fall.

Chase's POV
My eyes open as I hear a loud gunshot go off downstairs again.
"Shit," I say. I stand up, grab my gun, and run out of my room.
"What was that?" Violet asks after opening her door.
"Nothing, stay in your room," I say while still running down the hall. As I continue to run, I reach the basement door and see Emmett lying on the floor bleeding again.
"Emmett," I say as I squat down towards him.
"What did you do?" I ask them trying to contain my anger.
"Nothing, he came in and threaten to kill Zayn then he passed out and must've pulled the trigger when he was falling," Jason says.
"His stitches probably reopened," He claims.
"Jason, that's your name, right?" I ask.
"Yeah," He says.
"Help me carry him upstairs," I demand.
"Ok," He nods. I grab Emmett's shoulders as Jason grabs his ankles. We get to the lab and place him back on his bed.
"I'm gonna go get Brianna, stay here and watch these two," I tell Jason before I walk out.

Jason's POV
I walk over to Damon to see how he's doing. His face is pale and his bandage is so full of blood it's dripping down his leg. All of a sudden Brianna and another girl barge in along with Chase.
"He ripped his stitches open," Brianna says as after taking his bandage off.
"I'll get a new bandage," Liv says as she walks towards me but turns towards a cabinet and grabs some stuff from it.
"Luckily, Emmett and I went on a run for medical supplies a couple days ago," Chase exclaims.
"Do you want to take me back downstairs?" I ask Chase.
"You can stay up here," He says.
"Go stay in Stefan's room," He adds.
"Everybody's names are on the doors" He applies. I walk out of the lab and down the hall to the stairs. I slowly start to walk upstairs and one of the first doors are labeled "Olli, Stefan". I knock on the door and Stefan answers.
"They said I can stay up here with you guys," I tell him.
"Where's Damon?" Stefan asks me.
"You don't know yet?" I ask.
"Know what?" He asks concerned.
"He got shot downstairs" I answer.
"Oh my god," He says pushing past me.
"Can I stay in here?" I ask Olli.
"Chase told me to come here," I add.
"Yeah, why not," He says.
"You're the one with the signal," I remember after closing the door.
"Yeah, but I don't think I'm going to send the signal," He says.
"Why not?" I ask.
"Because it'll probably kill the people here," He says.
"Where is it, lets just break it then," I tell him. After he hands it to me he starts looking around for something to smash it with. I think to myself which buttons Zayn said was the button that sent the signal. As I look around the machine I find the button, or at least I think I did.
"Here use this to smash it," Olli says handing me a painted rock. I look at him and press the button.
