"Koyumi where are we going?" i whined as she drug me through the empty and somewhat creepy alleyways of new york city.
a laugh that almost sounded like wind chimes filled my ears as she laughed at my tone and continued to jog, making her silver hair shine in the sunlight almost as if it was made of the actual medal.
"i found a new set of courts over there!" Koyumi said happily as her hand tightened on my own, making me almost trip as she practically yanked me to the side to turn at the end of the ally.
i let a smile of excitement light up my face as i asked "really?"
she vigorously nodded her head as she made another sharp turn and i stumbled slightly being caught off guard.
she came to a sudden stop and i crashed into her back, making both of us stumble and laugh before looking up.
we were on a somewhat busy sidewalk beside a highway that seemed to have cars zooming by.
looking past the road my eyes widened in excitement as i saw what seemed to be brand new courts just on the other side of the busy highway.
turning back to my sister i threw my arms around her as we both jumped like the adolescent teenagers we where as we squealed in delight.
a few passerbys scoffed at us or glared before pushing past us, but we ignored them in favor or looking back to the pristine looking courts awaiting us.
without really having to say anything we both stepped up to the curb to look both ways to cross the street.
when there was a large enough gap between cars Koyumi grabbed my hand and we both dashed across as fast as we could as people behind us yelled in dismay at our recklessness.
we just laughed as we came to the tall fence that surrounded to court.
both of us leaned against the chain links to look around for the gate to get in, upon noticing it on the opposite side of the court though we both just shrugged at eachother and climbed the fence instead.
we were both giggling wildly as we climbed halfway back down the other side and jumped to the ground.
once we were safely on the ground we looked at each other before looking around the fresh court.
"it looks so clean!" Koyumi said as she pulled her favorite tennis ball from her pocket.
i couldn't help but nod as i added "it feels like we will be the first ones to ever play on it!"
without further conversation we pulled our rackets from their bags and ran to our respective side of the court, not even having to talk about who goes first.
we had an agreement to take turns on who served and it was currently her turn.
she wasted no time in getting ready before serving, already knowing i was prepared before even looking at me.
i guess because we were always together as well as twins we developed a sixth sense for eachother.
we could almost read each other's mind at this point.
we both grinned as i hit her serve back and the game started.
her play style was similar to a boy i had recently played, and i couldn't help the flash of hazel green in my minds eye as i thought about him.
Koyumi smiled, seemingly reading my mind as she asked "so you said that boy played like me?"
i nodded and said "yes, it was interesting. i didn't really get to see much of his play style but it was more of the same feeling as playing you."
