her shoulders were still tense when she turned around to face us with an awkward smile before giving a shaky laugh before saying "it's just a nickname my parents like to use for me."

i narrowed my eyes at her, knowing that she just lied to us.

momo though either didn't notice or didnt care as he shrugged his shoulders as he said "ok, well since you're home alone why don't you come with us to echizen's house for dinner?"

i blinked in surprise as i looked up at momo.

well, i guess it really wouldn't matter to me if she came so long as she was fine with it.

looking back at her i saw the same surprised look i had just a moment ago as she stared at momo.

she blinked and i couldn't help the slight chuckle that rumbled up from my chest as i asked "well, are you going to come or not?"

she looked back to me before asking "are you sure i wouldn't be intruding or anything?"

i shook my head as i said "no, i'll just let my mom know."

she smiled and nodded before looking back at her door and asking "is it ok for to change and set my stuff down really quick?"

i nodded as i pulled my phone out to send a text to my mom.

she unlocked her door and opened it for us as she said "ok you two can wait in the living room if you want."

she let us in and closed the door behind us before taking her shoes off and setting them neatly on a shoe rack to the right of us.

before we knew it she had already gotten up and dashed up the stairs with her school stuff.

i glance at momo before looking around.

the door opened to what appeared to be the living room immediately to our left.

the whole room was quite spacious and very clean, almost as if there was nobody to spend anytime in it at all.

we didn't seem to have to look around much more though because out of nowhere koyuki appeared at the top of the stairs tugging a black jacket on over a dark blue tank top.

her hair was slightly messy and getting in her face as she tried to rush down the stairs only for her socks to slip on the hardwood stairs.

a jolt of electricity seemed to shock me and i lunged forward to catch her only to fail miserably as her momentum sent us both to the floor in a jumbled heap.

momo seemed to shocked to move as he stared at the two of us tangled together on the floor.

"are you two ok?" he finally managed to get out as we just lay in a heap, to out of sorts to really move yet.

koyuki seemed to gather her thoughts together first as she started to shift away from me and lift herself into a sitting position.

i just stayed where i was for little while longer.

before she could say if she was okay though she started to giggle, that giggle grew until she was laughing uncontrollably in emmbassement.

i let my gaze fall on her before slowly starting to sit up.

her laughter seemed to be dwindling as i got to my feet and i noticed that not only her whole face but her ears and neck where all bright red as she bowed to the floor still giggling slightly and started to apologize.

"Im so sorry! i didn't mean to fall like that on you i was just trying to hurry!"

i rolled my eyes and said "yeah, whatever. lets just go."

she nervously smiled before pulling her tennis shoes on and opening the door to lead us out then locking it behind herself.

i glanced back at her for a moment before momo asked "where's your tennis racket?"

she blinked owlishly at us in confusion and i couldn't help the slight tinge of pink that tried to overtake my face.

momo grinned at her as he said "echizen has a tennis court at his house, so we where probably going to play for awhile!"

tilting her head to the side she glanced back at her door, seeming to think about where she put it.

i rolled my eyes as i began to get impatient and said "she can use one of mine."

momo's grin grew as he nodded and said "alright! let's go!"

once again we started to walk side by side with me ending up in the middle.

come to think of it, Koyuki has never been to my house before.

i cast a glance at her through the corner of my eye to see her eagerly looking forward trying to spot which house is mine.

she glanced up at caught me looking but instead of being confused she just smiled sweetly at me.

well at least she isn't faking her smiles around me as often.
