GORRAN'S POV:

"Gorran, I need you to come in here please," April whispered, her voice barely leaving her body. Her eyes were still, unmoving but the complete fear in them was undeniable.

"What's wrong April?" I asked with worry, from her face it was obvious that the news I was about to receive would not be pleasant, but I had no idea that it could be this bad.

The hairs on my back stood on edge and alert as the sweat began to pour down my back, within seconds I could feel the light t-shirt clinging to my back. My heart pounded hard against my sweaty chest, I felt like it was going to leap from my chest and shatter into tiny fragments all at the same time. I tried hard to get words out, there were so many questions which I needed to ask, but I couldn't. My breath quickened and my body began to shake like it was a mere leaf in the midst of an earthquake.

April wrapped her arms around my back, trying her hardest to sooth me. Slowly, bit by bit the shaking ceased and my heart and breathing rates began to return to normal.

"We will find her Gorran. I promise you that, nothing will happen her," she whispered reassuringly into my eye.

"She is so young April, she is only eight. Why would someone do something like that?" I questioned. April and I both knew the answer, they were trying to prove that I would never win, they wanted to lessen MI5's powers. It was all a play for power, but my innocent, little sister had been caught in the middle. I would never forgive the people who had taken it. I could understand someone personally targeting me, however, Alma didn't even know the truth, she thought that I was at boarding school.

"We have the rest of your family under armed guards Gorran. Nobody will get them and we have almost located your sister from a phone call the kidnapper made to us early. He gave us an ultimatum- he wanted us to release three members of his gang from the maximum security prison which they are currently in. He also told us that we would have to get rid of you and Morgan. As of yet, we are unsure of how he learned about the two of you or your sister's location, but our utmost priority is to bring her home safely and we will do that."

"How are we going to that?" I questioned. "We don't even know where she is, who has her or where they are. For all we know she could be..."  my voice trailed off, I couldn't think like that, I had to be positive.

"Gorran, I know this is going to be very difficult for you, and of course it is ultimately your decision, but we think it might be best if this was the first mission for you and Morgan," April suggested, releasing me from the comforting hug I had remained in.

"You want to use my sister's kidnapper as a trial?" I exclaimed angrily, the rage inside my evident as my face turned red and my hands clasped into fists. At the moment, I truly felt like I was about to fall apart.

"You know we would never endanger you or any member of your family. There will be other members assisting you and you will both be equipped with monitors, armed guards can be at your side within seconds. We thought that your sister will probably be fearful. She has been taken to this location by people she doesn't know who are likely armed- she is not going to want to go with other people either. This way she will see that it is her big brother and she will know that she is safe now. There will be no danger for her or you, we think it is the most appropriate way to handle it for your sister's sake."

As April spoke I began to understand her and Jet's thought process. Alma had always been fearful of strangers. We had always instilled in her the importance of staying where she was until help arrived, if anything bad happened. She would not want to leave unless she knew that she was going to be safe. I had to do this for her sake, I couldn't jeporadise her life for anything. I nodded to April and ran outside to inform Morgan. I would need her to be my side- eventhough we had just begun training together, we could not predict the dangers that lay ahead so doubling the amount of powers at our disposal seemed like an obvious choice.

Morgan clasped her hands together as April explained the situation to her. Her mouth dropped open in suprise and shock. I could see the symaphetic, worried looks she was throwing in my direction, but I couldn't bear to look at her. Without a seconds hesitation, or questions unlike me she agreed to help in the rescue mission.

I wanted to go immediately, knowing that my sister could be anywhere in the world terrified me to my core. I needed to hold in my arms and know that was safe. Nevertheless, we had to be prepared, we needed more information.

April arranged for a helicopter to come and take us to London. Our current knowledge informed us that the phone-call came from the suburbs of the city, so that was our first location. As we awaited the helicopter's imminent arrival, April began to attach the many monitors which had she had spoken of to us. They were hidden beneath our clothes and she promised that their silent machinery would be able to detect the smallest change in our stats and that we would be assisted if any of them increased or decreased too much. A small transparent device was also inserted in our ears, which would record everything that happened. April and Jet would be able to hear us and anything else that anybody said or did in real time.

Finally, the helicopter arrived and the four of us boarded it. Over twenty heavily-armed muscular soldiers dressed head to dead in black accompanied us. Nobody spoke as we settled into our seats for the short flight. Each person had their ow thoughts to contend with and mine were unstoppable as I imagined what could await us and what could be happening at that very moment.

April's phone buzzed and then began to ring, she picked it up and quickly answered. She gestured to Jet who sat beside her to grab the notepad and pen which sat on top of the rucksack at his feet. She swiftly flipped to the first blank page and began to write, only speaking when she needed to ask for something to be repeated. Soon the phone was placed back on the small table in front of her.

"The HQ got another phone-call from the kidnappers to say we had five hours to fulfill their requests or else they would resort to..." she stopped speaking, knowing that we could all fill in the rest of the sentence. I closed my eyes tightly trying to stop the horrific images which were taking over my mind. "We managed to hold them on the line long enough to track the precise location. It came from a disused warehouse, several miles outside the city." The name of the street meant nothing to me, it was a faceless place which had no meaning to me, but yet it meant everything to me."

Soon after, they had located the warehouse and its coordinates on the map and transport was arranged from the heliport to the street beside the warehouse, the helicopter landed. I could feel myself tense at the thought of what we were about to experience. If my sister's life was not in danger, there is no question about me backing out of the mission, but I could not do that to Alma, we needed each other.

As I descended the steps of the helicopter, I saw my mother and father accompanied by huge armed soldiers. They pushed through the tight huddle and ran towards me.

"Gorran... what if.... will she... I can't, you can't... no..."she stuttered, trying to get the words out as the tears and emotions consumed her entire body. It hurt me so much to see my mother and father like this. They were in complete and utter despair. I could tell that my mother was beginning to lose all hope and that my father was worried for my safety. They were afraid to lose another child.

"I'll bring her back, I promise," I whispered as they each hugged me tightly before I was bundled into the awaiting car. I looked back at their faces one last time and I knew that this was something I had to do.

It was now or never, the danger was real and my own sister's life hung in the balance. It was all my fault and only I could solve it.
