I Thought We Were Friends

"Get up!"
I screamed loudly as my eyes flickered open and I snapped up. Alex burst out laughing from the other end of my bed, his eyes alight with amusement.
"What on earth are you doing?" I moaned, rubbing my eyes. "And how did you get in here?"
"Oh so you don't remember what happened last night?" he asked raising an eyebrow.
"No..." I replied with wide eyes, rubbing my head as if it would jog my memory. Having just woken up, I genuinely didn't remember what happened the previous night.
"Really?" Alex asked in overly dramatic shock. "You don't remember what we did last night."
"What we did?" I asked starting to panic, "What did we do?"
"I'm hurt Pezza," he whispered moving closer towards me, "you don't remember when we were this close," he hovered inches away from my lips, "and then we both moved closer and closer," he ran his fingers gently along my thigh, making my breath hitch in my throat, "and we kissed," he whispered even quieter, "over and over again." I looked at him with my eyes so wide they almost popped out of my skull in horror. As if I would forget that! There was no way any of that happened!

Suddenly, he moved closer and pecked my neck, before he burst out laughing, "I'm kidding, relax." Visibly breathing a sigh of relief, I picked up my pillow and pelted him with it for making me panic,
"what did you do that for?"
He took the pillow off me between fits of laughter and grabbed my wrists, "it was joke babe, calm down," and then he smirked, "you know you want to."
Secretly hoping my cheeks didn't look as hot as they felt, "Just answer my question, how did you get in here?"
"I came up just now, as Danielle left the flat to go to her meeting with the other leaders and your door wasn't locked," he shrugged tucking my hair behind my ear, as I nodded. "God, I've missed you so much," he then sighed and then buried his face in my neck. I kissed his head and then moved to get ready, motioning for him to leave.
"Nah, I'm good," he smirked leaning against the wall, "I'll be just fine here, enjoying the view." I raised my eyebrow in disbelief.
"I'm not changing out here," I smirked back. I went into the bathroom and washed my face, before entering my room again to pick something to wear.

My suitcase was open, and Alex was holding a plain white t-shirt and black skinny jeans,
"Wear these," he said tossing them over to me, "with this," as he threw my blue denim jacket towards me. I went back into the bathroom, making him pout and them put them on. Leaving my hair open, I re-entered my room and did a spin for effect and then packed up all my things into my suitcase. I fixed the bed after stripping it down to make sure the room was exactly how it was when I found it and then wheeled my suitcase into the kitchen.
"Have you eaten?" I asked him and he nodded back taking a seat at the table. I made a slice of toast for myself and then headed downstairs with Alex. Jade and Jed were already sitting on one of the couches at the far end of the room. After leaving my suitcase with the others in the corner of the room, we headed over and sat down.

"Guess what happened upstairs," Alex smirked catching my eye and then looking back at Jade and Jed. He then proceeded to tell them about his prank and my horrified expression. Shaking my head in embarrassment and hiding my head in my hands, I whined about why he needed to tell them.
"How tired were you?" Jade asked between fits of laughter.
"I had literally just woken up," I moaned, "you're evil," I poked Alex in his arm.
"You love me!" he laughed, making my eyes widen. L-l-l-lo-love?
Alex furrowed his eyes in confusion at my lack of response. Closing my eyes, I shoved him and laughed nervously, "Shut up!"

We started talking between ourselves and then it was time to go. We had an hour to rehearse one more time and then we were all to present to the 'dragons' in the auditorium. After spending the hour going over the presentation around four times, we were very confident that we were ready. Danielle lead us to the auditorium and the team ran up to the very top seats. Each team entered one by one sitting next to each other on one row each. The wave leader came in and asked everyone to move downwards a couple of rows, so we weren't all sitting towards the back. We spoke between ourselves and with the other teams for a few minutes before we were asked to quieten down and get ready for the dragons.
Five people walked into the room in a line, three women and two men. They greeted us all giving their names, ages and what they did for a living before sitting down at the very front row of the room. Each of them had a piece of paper and a pen for writing notes on the presentation of each team. We then took turns to present. Teams went in alphabetical order, Edwards, Jackman, Perham, Reiss and Sabesan. Just under two hours later everyone had performed, and the judges had left to deliberate.
When they came back in, they announced their thoughts on each team's presentation and then how much they would be donating per team. Our team was given £30 to use, which we were all very excited about.
