Mustard

As the weeks went by, Alex and I were going strong. I went with the girls to watch him and Andre play football every second Saturday and then we went out to eat. In school we worked pretty fast to finish the content as we approached our first set of mock exams in November.
We had two weeks of mock exams and then on the last day of the second week we had a PE lesson for two hours, to make up for missing two weeks of PE. The whole year group was joined together for the lesson, after lunch. Leaving our PE kits in the changing rooms, the girls and I headed for lunch.

"PIZZA, CHIPS AND BEANS DAY!" Jade screeched in my ear earning a few strange glances from other students.
"I think I'm going to have a pastie instead, Leigh you want to get one?" Jesy said eyeing the much shorter pastie line. Leigh nodded and headed off with Jesy as Jade and I lined up.

"Slag."
Soreya coughed as she walked past me with her boyfriend.
"If karma doesn't hit her soon, I will," Jade seethed at her retreating figure.
"She does that every single time she walks past, it's starting to get on my nerves," I sighed shaking my head. When we eventually got our food, we walked towards the far most table, where Leigh waved us over like a maniac. We spoke about how we thought we did on the last maths paper we did earlier in the day.

"I don't understand what the need is for three maths papers like we have a non-calculator paper and a calculator one, why do we need a third? I would think two is more than enough." Leigh complained.
"Babe we have three papers so they can assess us on all the content without putting too much into a single paper," Jade explains.
"What about overwhelming us with exam papers? What about that?"
"Drama queen," I coughed, causing Leigh to lightly smack me on the arm.
"You know the results we get from these exams are most likely to be the results we get in the end," Jade said, "we're not likely to make any significant progress from now until then."
"Oh thanks babe, that's just brilliant," Jesy replied sarcastically.
"You don't think you did well?" Jade asked.
"Does it look like I did?" Jesy replied in an American accent.
"Touchy," Leigh snickers, earning a playful glare from Jesy.
"I probably didn't do that well either," I admitted.
"I'm sure we all did well," Jade smiled, "and it isn't impossible to make progress, I mean if you work hard you can do anything."
We nodded in agreement and continued to eat and chat before the bell went and we headed back to the PE corridor and into the changing rooms. There were some people already there and some girls straggled in behind us. The changing room was buzzing with the relief of getting through a crazy mock exam timetable and the excitement of missing the last two lessons of the day for PE.

Not that many of them planned on actually doing PE. They were just excited that we were joining the boys for once. The only other time that ever happened was on the yearly sports day. I wondered if they planned on actually participating to impress, or maybe they would rather watch the guys, who I was sure were going to play hard to impress the ladies. It was definitely going to be interesting.

"Ew!" I said as I took my foot back out of my trainer and look at the sticky yellow substance soaking through my sock.
"What the hell is that?" Jesy asked in disgust. Jade yanked my trainer from my hand and inspected the inside of it.
"EW, mustard," Jade said.
"That is disgusting babe, who the hell put mustard in your trainer?"
I was way too mind blown to respond, when we heard a fit of laughter coming from the door. Most of the girls have already left so there were only three evil little trolls standing at the door laughing, confirming my suspicion.

"Ew Perrie, why would you put mustard in your trainer?" Soreya smirked. Harmony and Felicity burst out laughing before the three of them strutted out of the changing room, leaving us four standing there slightly stunned.
"She did not just do that," I seethed.
"I swear I will cut a bi-" Jesy started, before Jade pulled on her arm stopping her from chasing Soreya out and rearranging her face.
"Hold your horses, babe," Jade reasoned. "Let's just deal with this first."
