Owen POV

As soon as Sang tells us not to speak, I know who is coming out of that elevator. I don't know if any of us are ready for it, but it looks like we need to be. As the chaos ensues around us, the only thing we can do is watch.

"Maaaaaamma!" A small voice screams coming around the corner a moment before I see 5 little ones rushing around to Sang. Right behind them, I see Uncle and Erica. While the other 8 greet Uncle and Erica, I'm stuck watching the scene with our children and Sang.

"Hi babies! I told you, you would see me tonight! How was Uncle and grandma's house?" Sang talks to all of them kneeling down. The little ones are rushing to hug the Toma team while Roman and Riley seem to be hanging on to everything Sang does and says. None of the children have even noticed our presence yet.

"It was good, Uncle wanted to come here early. Is everything okay?" Roman asks, and looking at him churns my stomach with so much guilt. He looks like I did as a child, but he has Sangs lightness. All her good.

"Yea baby, everything is fine. Give you daddies love and then we'll talk." She kisses them both and then kisses the other 3 before walking up to Uncle and Erica. The 5 children all hang off of the Toma team, still seemingly unaware of our presence.

"Uncle, why the fuck did you bring them here? We told you we would call you!" Sang hisses in a low voice and I'm shocked by her. The Sang I knew never would have cursed so freely and definitely never to an elder. Uncle seems unfazed by her language and I have a feeling it's another thing that has changed about her.

"I know little bird and I'm sorry. I had no idea these boys would be here but Roman and especially Riley were begging for you. Something is going on with them Sang and you're the only one right now that seems to calm them. Riley seems almost fearful." Uncle almost pleads with her to understand. Sang looks border line tears but she takes a deep breath and centers herself.

"I'm sorry for snapping Uncle. I know something has been going with them. I'll figure it out. Thank you for bringing them, and I don't want to cut your reunion short with the Blackbourne team but this needs to be done and I'd prefer to do it with just us. Is that okay?"

"Oh yea little bird, I don't want to be here for the shit storm that's about to ensue. Roman is not going to be happy, well neither is Riley." Uncle chuckles and I stare confused. Why would they not be happy? "Love you little bird. we'll get out of your hair." Uncle and Erica swiftly leave, leaving just my team, the children, Sang and the Toma team.

"Marc and Corey, can you put down the three little ones. I don't think they'e napped today." Sang interrupts the Toma team and children. The two nod and take the 3 little ones into a room towards the back. Just then do Roman and Riley notice us.

"Uhm, mama, papas. Who are they?" Riley asks while standing in front of Sang protectively. I hold back a smile. Just like North.

"Come here baby. Let mama hold you and we'll talk about it." Surprisingly Sang picks up the two 4 year olds with ease I wouldn't have expected. The boys latch on to her like little monkeys and stare at her like she holds the key to their happiness. Which I understand because that's exactly what she is for us.

"You remember all the stories mama and papas have told you about the Blackbourne team?" They nod. "Well this is them." She gestures to us and the twins seem to take another look at us. Almost a glare as hard as their mother.

"Let me down mama." Roman, my mini me, tells Sang. She lets him down while Riley stays clutched tightly to Sang. Roman straightens himself and pushes his glasses up his face, a nervous tick I have. He looks so much like me in that moment, that it steals my breath.
