Kyndells POV

I barely noticed Katheraine and Jc exiting the room. Sam was making my blood pressure rise with each passing second. He kept looking at me and smiling or biting his lip, which I decided was the sexiest thing I'd seen him do.

We were cuddled up underneath a big blanket, eating popcorn, watching the movie. Or I thought he was watching the movie. By that time I had changed into my pajama shorts and tank top.

About halfway through the movie I felt Sam's hands start to move slowly up and down my legs. I tensed but didn't smack his hand away. He smirked and traced my knee, leaving sparks wherever he touched.

He must've gotten bored quickly because his fingertips ghosted overtop of my arms, making me shiver.

"Are you cold Kyndell? I can turn down the AC." Tyler asked, making me blush.

"Nope." I answered back, hoping it was dark enough to hide my burning face. Tyler shrugged and turned back to the television, but Kian, who was sitting beside Sam, wasn't fooled.

"Way to go man!" He whispered, loud enough for me to hear. Sam laughed silently and placed his hand on my shoulder, making circular patterns on my skin.

I tried to focus on the movie, I really did, but when Sam started moving up my shoulder closer and closer to… other things, I lost all concentration.

It wasn't until he started playing with my tank strap did I crack.

I stood up as quietly as possible and pulled Sam up roughly. No one noticed us leaving the room except Kian, and all he did was wink at me.

I could sense that Sam was nervous as we neared our bedroom.

"Listen Kyndell I'm really sorry, I didn't mean to make you feel uncomfortable. I wasn't thinking straight..." he rambled. I just bit my tounge and turned the knob to our door.

"...I don't know what came over me, I should've known-"

The second I stepped inside the bedroom, I pushed Sam up against the door and crashed my lips onto his. I could feel him smiling. His arms rested on my waist and pulled me closer against him then I think I've ever been. I placed my hands around his neck and could feel things escalating around me.

I felt his tounge trace my lips and I gasped. He took that opportunity to dart his tounge into my mouth. I quickly found the rhythm. His hands slid under my thighs and pulled me off the ground and over to the bed.

The second I touched those sheets, I froze. Memories of Neal came rushing back to my mind. I couldn't stop the tears that slipped out of my eyes. Like an old wound had been reopened, the pain was almost unbearable. I let the memories flood my brain and I couldn't get ahold of myself.

"Kyndell?" Sam asked, pulling away from me. "Kyndell, what's wrong?" He asked urgently when he saw my tears.

I just shook my head. I was embarrassed, completely mortified.

"I'm so sorry." I choked out. Sam just looked confused.

"What's going on Kyndell?" He asked, holding my hand in both of his.

My face flushed and I tried to find the right words. "It's fine, You don't have to be embarrassed, it's just me."

I swallowed. "Well, I just remembered Neal... and what he did." I covered my face. Understanding flashed through Sam's eyes.

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry Kyndell! I totally forgot. I should've never pushed you so far. This is all my fault."

"No it's not! I'm the one who can't even hook up with my own boyfriend!" I yelled, becoming angry with myself.

Sam looked sad. "Kyndell I'm not dating you to just 'hook up'" he said using air quotes. "I love you Kyndell I'll wait until the end of time for you, I just don't want to rush you into something you don't want."

My eyes widened as I realized what he had just said.

I opened my mouth, "Sam I-"

"Shhhh... Lets just sleep." He smiled and laid down. I sighed and curled up beside him.

Once Sam's breathing had slowed and his muscles relaxed, I leaned over Sam. "I love you too." I whispered into his ear. And it could've just been my imagination, but I could barely see a small smile spread across Sam's face.
