Kyndell's P.O.V.
I was fast asleep, dreaming about certain people with beautiful brown eyes and rosy cheeks, when I felt arms shaking me awake.
My eyes popped open and I sat up quickly, banging my head against something hard. I moaned, rubbing my forehead and looked to see who was waking me up at two in the morning.
Surprisingly, it wasn't Sam. Kian stood above me, massaging his head. "Kian! What the f-"
"Get up we're leaving. Wake Sam up, I'll explain everything later, we have to go. Now." and before I could say anything, he vanished.
"Sam!" I yelled, pulling out my duffle bag and filling it with my junk. "Sam! Get up!" His eyes snapped open. After he realized what was happening, he silently got up and hurriedly started throwing things into a suitcase.
After I had shoved at least half of my clothes into a bag, I followed Sam into the living room. Jumbled conversations filled the room, so loud I couldn't hear anyones individual voice.
One voice made everyone stop talking.
"I want out!"
Everyone stopped talking and stared at Katheraine. She looked positive. My eyes wandered over to Jc. He looked like someone had just killed his puppy. I felt a pinch of sympathy in my chest for him.
"Drop me off at the airport, I'm going home." Katheraine continued.
"Whatever, we have to go. Now." Kian said, pulling me out the door. He kept his body carefully in front of mine and I could almost hear Sam's eyes squinting behind me.
Once we reached the van Kian lifted me up and onto the van, making my mouth drop. Kian never acted like this. Ever.
My mind was jumbled up and I almost didn't notice when Sam pulled me against him. My body reacted, nuzzling my head into his neck.
Kian hit the gas pedal, making the car sequel as we turned off of Tyler's street. The van only accelerated after that.
"Kian! What the hell is going on?" Sam yelled, making me wince. Pressing myself closer to Sam, I realized that he was shaking. I frowned. This must have really rattled him.
Kian sighed and opened his mouth. He had some major explaining to do.
Kian's P.O.V.
It was almost two in the morning and I was in a light sleep whenever the phone started ringing on the table. Right beside my couch. Loud. In my ear.
I grabbed the phone, wandering who the eff would be calling at this time. I pressed the phone to my ear and whisper-yelled into the phone, "Its two in the morning! What the hell do you want?"
There was an eerie pause, then seconds later a chilling voice spoke only one word.
"Kyndell."
Goosebumps raised onto my skin and my eyebrows scrunched. "What do you mean? Who is this?" I asked, trying not to let my uneasiness show.
"Now Kian, we both know you know the answer to both of those questions." My eyes widened. "I never took you as the stupid one, I thought Jc was the dim one."
"I don't know how you know my name but-" A dark chuckle came from the other line, cutting me off.
"Oh Kian, I know everything. I know your name, I know where you are, I know what type of car your driving, and I even know that you are currently pacing back and forth while biting your fingernails."
My mouth fell open and I dropped the hand I had nervously been chewing. How?
"Filthy habit, wouldn't it be a shame if Andrea found out? I'm pretty sure the men in Florida don't have stubby nails."
Two things. popped into my mind: One, that was totally stupid because Andrea already knew I chewed my nails. She thought it was cute. Two, he knew where she was.
He knew where she was.
I physically couldn't talk, I stood frozen in place with the phone pressed up to my ear.
"Tell Kyndell that we will be together soon enough, and tell her that it takes a little pain to reach satisfaction. I hope she's gotten over that silly phobia of hospitals."
My hand almost dropped the phone without my approval.
"Cat got your tongue? Oh well, you'll talk later. See you soon Kian. Sooner then you think."
The phone line went dead.
My mind swam. I could feel a migraine approaching. What do I do?
Since I knew for a fact no one was safe here, I scrambled around the house getting everyone's things and throwing people out of their beds.
Once we were all gathered in the living room, I almost ran out the door until my subconscious reminded me what was said about Kyndell. For an odd reason something made me think she was most at risk.
Without a second thought, I pulled Kyndell outside, ignoring Sam's confused face. I made sure to block Kyndells body with mine, without making it overly obvious.
In one swift movement I picked Kyndell up and placed her into the van. Ignoring the stares behind me, I ran to the drivers side and didn't even wait for the door to shut before I two-wheeled the van out of Tyler's driveway.
My hands were clenched tight around the stearing wheel. My knuckles were white.
It had been almost six years since I've been this shaken up, whenever my little sister got cancer, and it took a lot to make me like this. I honestly felt like shit. Like I could pull over this van and scream and throw up and cry all at the same time.
But I'm not. Someone had to stay strong, and I had experience hiding my feelings, so I set my face into a hard mask and locked up the typhoon of emotions swarming inside my brain.
Sadly, this wasn't the first time.
A\N: So, Kian. I admit it, I think I'm falling for him xD do I see a new story coming along?? Who knows? Anyway, please comment and favorite so I'll know people enjoy reading this! Or maybe you don't. Tell me anyway!
