Kian's P.O.V.

I got the call right as we pulled into Hardy's.

"Kian." My mom sobbed through the phone, making my heart brake.

"What's wrong mom?" I asked, seriously concerned.

After a few minutes of her hopeless crying she said with a weak voice:

"It's Sarah."

And with that my wall of sanity shattered.

"What about Sarah?" My voice broke as I asked.

"She... She... She's gone!"

I dropped the phone.

"Kian? What's going on?" Kyndell asked nervously. I could feel my body shaking, but I couldn't stop it.

Picking up the phone again, I questioned my mother. "What do you mean gone?" I spat.

"She dissapeared, the last time anyone saw her she was walking down the road with a little blonde girl."

"Didn't you call the police!" I yelled, but I knew the answer.

"I called, but the police found no trace of her." My mom continued crying.

"Look harder!" I shouted, but I could feel my eyes starting to sting.

With that I shut my phone and collapsed. "Its Sarah." I answered Kyndell and Jc's confused stares. "Neal got her."

As Kyndell's face turned to horror, I realized what that meant. I'd heard the stories of what that creep did to Kyndell. Sarah, sweet little Sarah, going through the same things.

For the first time in six years, I broke down.

Kyndell's mouth dropped open as I buried my head into my hands and sobbed. I wish Sam were here. He always kept a leveled head, he'd know what to say to make it okay.

I felt a small arm pull me over and gratefully cried on Kyndell's shoulder. She kept rubbing my back and telling me that everything was going to be fine.

I was starting to see why Sam liked this girl.

Connor's P.O.V.

"Connor!" Kayla squealed as I tickled her sides. "Stop it!" Her porcelain face had a light pink blush on it as she struggled against me.

"Connor! I said stop!" She pressed her warm lips to mine and I instantly dropped the attack, bracing myself on either side of her head.

What started as a playful act soon heated up. I let my tongue travel into her mouth and she didn't resist.

Was she...? No way, I thought as she broke the kiss, but her eyes confirmed my suspicion.

I instantly became nervous, but she just smiled and pulled my head back down to hers.

My hands seemed to have a mind of their own as they snaked lower and lower down Kayla's body.

Is this actually happening? I wondered, starting to get exited.

Thats when I smelled the smoke.

Sidney's P.O.V.

No one got out of the van. It had been five minutes and my nerves kept building until I found myself pacing back and forth despite the public area.

When I looked back out the window the van was gone.

Neal is going to kill me. I thought, knowing that he would. Right on cue my phone started vibrating.

After a moments hesitation, I picked it up. "Neal?"

"Sidney. Why exactly did the big van drive away?" He asked. He sounded calm, but that was probably a bad sign.

Without thinking I lied, "She wasn't with them, it was just the tan one and the shorter one."

Neal paused.

"Okay, start trailing the other car."

He hung up.

Lets just pray she's with Sam. I sighed and got onto my motorcycle, digging my own grave with every mile.
