Kyndell's P.O.V.
The rest of the day passed pretty quickly, and I found myself flopping onto the big king sized bed earlier then usual. I rolled over and turned on the television. Sam was finishing up his shower. I flipped through the channels randomly until I found something interesting.
The water cut off and the bathroom door opened, revealing a still dripping Sam. He had on sweats and a white wife beater.
Sam jumped onto the bed and laid his head on my lap. My hands automatically found their way to his hair and started combing through his damp locks. He sighed and glanced up at what I was watching.
"The X Factor?" He asked, squinting at the man trying to make it into the next round.
"Yeah, I like the raw talent. Especially when someone really good sings and I get chills. It's amazing how people sound so perfect." I spoke without realizing. My face turned a beautiful cherry color once I realized what had just came out of my mouth.
Sam thought for a second. "When you sing it's like the perfect remedy to whatever is wrong in my life. It brings me to a better place, even if it is just for a few minutes." He stated, making my mouth fall open. We sat there silently.
"That was deep."
We both started laughing and drifted back into silence, watching the next contestant sing for their life.
"Oh yeah, I almost forgot." Sam looked up at me. "Why were you upset earlier?"
I glanced at the ceiling as if it magically had the answer written on it. "It was stupid, nothing worth worrying you over."
Sam pulled himself off me. "No it's not, if it made my girl sad then it wasn't stupid." He sat up and rubbed soothing circles against my back. Sam always knew just what to say.
"I should be over it by now." I mumbled, gluing my eyes to my bare feet.
"Please tell me Kyndell." He lifted my chin up and looked down at me with his big brown eyes. Damn, those eyes could make me do just about anything.
"Fine, I just looked at my Twitter feed and overreacted. Not a big deal." Before I could blink or stop him, he had pulled his phone out and logged onto Twitter.
"Oh my god." He said in awe as he scrolled farther and farther down my wall. "This is crazy!" Anger clouded his face. "How could people say those things about you!" He jumped off the bed and started to pace angrily back and forth.
I pulled him back down to me. "They're just jealous. I get to call you mine, they don't." I reasoned.
He paused. "You're right, but that's not why they're jealous."
"Its not?" I asked, confused.
"No. You're the most beautiful girl alive, and that's why they say those things about you. When they say those things it gives them a false sense of confidence, because they'll never be as amazing as you are Kyndell."
My mouth fell open as I realized what he had just said. My lips turned to a smile. "I'm sorry to say this but, I'm in love with you Sam Pottorff."
His eyes sparkled. "How exactly did that happen?" A smirk appeared on his face.
Leaning closer, I whispered in his ear, "You're my drug." I bit my lip, "And I'll never get enough of you." With that his lips crashed against mine, with enough force to push me against the bed.
My hands trailed up and down his chest, tracing his defined torso through his shirt. I felt him wrap his hand around my calf and place it around his hip. He shrugged off his shirt and moaned when I raked my nails down his back.
For some reason I decided to take control and flipped us so I was on top. He smiled against my lips so I could tell he liked it. I pushed my tongue into his mouth and automatically felt his body respond.
I let my mouth wonder away from his, sucking and biting his jaw. Then I went to his throat and collarbone. Returning to his lips, I leaned down painfully slow, always keeping a few centimeters between us. Sam squirmed underneath me as I denied his attempts to kiss me. In the back of my mind I wondered how much longer his patience would last. Appearamtly not long.
Sam let out a frustrated growl and flipped us over so he was back on top.
We were about to pass the point of no return, when my phone started blaring Disclosure. Sam groaned and slammed his fist against a pillow. I rolled off the bed and looked at my caller ID.
Ki-Ki.
I answered and put him on speaker.
"What the fuck do you want Kian!?" Sam yelled across the room.
"Hello to you, too." Kian said sarcastically. "Sidney said Astrid and Joanna will be here soon, so we are all meeting in my room."
"Ughhhh." Sam groaned and threw the covers over his head. I laughed at his frustrated state. So glad I didn't have a penis.
"We'll be there." I clicked the off button and looked at Sam. "Are you going to fix yourself?" I asked, pointing downwards.
He bit his lip, smirking. "Actually, I was kind of hoping you would."
I rolled my eyes. "And why would I do that?"
"Because you are the most amazing, beautiful, caring girl in the world and I love you." He said, raising his eyebrows. "And it's kind of your fault."
I shot him a devious smile and watched his eyes light up as I approached the bed. "What's the magic word?" I whispered into his ear.
"Please?" He asked, fidgeting.
"Actually it was Kam, but that'll work too."
