Kyndell's P.O.V.

After two and a half hours of screaming, running, and searching for pointless belongings; Sam and I finally collapsed onto the bed at 1:45.

A.M.

Isn't that just splendid?

If you didn't taste that lick of sarcasm then you might need to get some help.

Sam wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me on top of him.

"Ugh, Sammm." I groaned, pushing against his chest. "I'm going to crush you, and I kind of need you alive."

"Crush me? You couldn't crush a soda can." His eyes sparked as he rubbed his nose against mine.

"Oh yeah?" I raised my eyebrows and pushed against him until we flipped positions. "See, I'm strong." We both laughed because it was painfully obvious he was supporting his own weight.

I looked into his eyes and I felt the room shift. Those eyes made me feel guilty. "You should stay here." I told him, "After all, this is my fault. It only makes sense that I be the one at risk." His eyes darkened.

"If I ever hear you say that again my heart just might stop."

I wrinkled my forehead, "But it's true. If I had never came into your life you wouldn't be in this mess." He sighed and rolled off of me.

"Kyndell, you don't understand." He reached for my hand, "Before I met you life was pointless, but now I finally have a reason to exist. You." A part of me wanted to kiss every once if worry off his face, but another side of me wanted to slap him.

"Sam... You can't think like that. You have friends and a family back home," I touched his cheek, "People need you."

He closed his eyes, "Well, I need you."

"You can't throw your life away for some girl." I knew that my reasoning made more sense, but since Sam was Sam he refused to back down.

"You're not 'some girl' you're Kyndell Wright and you just so happen to be the most amazing person I've ever met." He raised the intensity level by staring into my eyes, "You also happen to be the girl I fell in love with."

"Sa-"

"No, don't." He whispered and closed the gap between us. Passion and pain filled the kiss, a constant reminder of how bad things could get.

Yet neither of us pulled away. We didn't have the common sense to realize the pain could simply subside if we stopped. Maybe I was a little stubborn too.

"Do you think it would be worth it to sleep now?" I asked once I caught my breath.

"I'm just going to sleep on the plane, I mean it'll be a few hours before we land." He drew circles into my stomach causing me to giggle.

I sat up and stretched."Yeah I guess you're right."

"I always am." He smirked and kissed my cheek.

"Cocky," I mumbled under my breath.

"What was that?"

"Nothing."

"That's what I thought."

We both started laughing rhetorically loud. The laughs stopped when we heard a knock on the door. Jc peeped his head around the corner or the door, "I heard laughing and I figured it was safe to enter..." Jc smirked stepping into our room.

"What's up?" I asked, pulling myself off the bed.

"You know besides the fact that I'm about to go to an actual prostatution murder house with my pregnant girlfriend, who is due to pop anytime now, not much." He said, collapsing into a tiny floral print chair near the door.

"Don't worry, you and Katheraine will be far, far away from any sort of action." I put a reassuring hand on his arm. "Everything's going to be fine." He mouthed the words 'thank you' and visibly relaxed.

"For real though, why are you here?" Sam asked, probably wanting to have some alone time before we left.

"Kian said to start heading down, if we miss this flight he'll probably kill someone. And by 'someone' I mean ME! So let's move along." Jc turned and left, giving us a five minute sign.

Sam sighed and rolled off the bed. He walked behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist. I looked over my shoulder and noticed something in Sam's eyes that made me want to cry.

"What's wrong?" I asked him, leaning back into his chest.

"Nothing." I gave him the 'spill it' look. "Okay, I don't want you to think I'm crazy or anything but I have this horrible feeling about what we're about to do. I can't explain it, but I know it's not going to end well."

If only he knew how right he was.

But he didn't, and I certainly wasn't about to break the news. Instead, I turned around and gave his lips a soft peck. "It's all going to be fine." His eyes still were broken. "I promise."

He smiled and turned to get my suit case. The second he couldn't see me a silent tear rolled down my face. That was the very first time I'd lied to Sam Pottorff.

Kian'sP.O.V.

We had finally gotten everyone into the airport. Three minutes before our flight departed. We barely got thorough the gates, of course it helps to be a famous YouTuber... but still.

We boarded the plane and I ended up getting a window seat. Flying didn't freak me out like it did Kyndell. She was quietly hyperventilating and avoiding the window. I laughed at her and shoved my earbuds in, cranking up the tunes.

I was jamming out to LMFAO when I started to hear yelling. My first thought was that our flight had been delayed or that someone's baby wouldn't shut up. I turned up my music and wiggled father back into my seat.

The complaints got louder and more explicit. I looked around to see what all of the chatter was about and found a scared looked Astrid staring at me from the aisle. She was holding up the line.

"Astrid!" I whisper yelled. She backed up onto the person behind her, causing a few colorful words to be thrown along the plane. "Just sit down!" I said in the same time as before.

She looked surprised. "Really?"

"Yeah."

She slipped into the seat beside me and inched toward the aisle. Applause erupted from the line of people as they started moving again.

"You know I really don't hate you." I told her, putting one of my earbuds back in. She shrugged and settled into her seat. I caught her eyes lingering on my phone.

"Do you like LMFAO?" I asked motioning to my phone.

"Who?" My jaw dropped.

"You don't know LMFAO?" I asked.

"No." She said cautiously, in all fairness I guess I did look kind of mental.

"Do you even listen to music?"

Wrong question.

Her face contorted as if I had smacked her. "Not since...." she choked on her words.

"Here, listen." I said popping the oversized earbud in her ear. She automatically smiled and relaxed.

A few minutes later I felt a soft this on my shoulder and looked down to see a pile of tangled curls leaning against me. Let's just say, this was the best I've felt in a long time.

Too bad everything would be useless in a few short hours.

But at least Sarah would be safe.

That's all that really matters anymore.
