Kyra spotted Solana as she was heading out of the woods towards the castle.
"Where are you going?" Asked Kyra.
"Oh, you made it out. Thank goodness. I was going to go back in there and try to help you escape." Replied Solana.
"No need, I am okay. We need to get out of here right now though. They will be searching the area soon."
"You don't have to tell me twice." Said Solana as she turned and headed back into the woods.
Kyra landed and rested on Solana's shoulder as the two of them made their way through the forest.
"I am completely drained of my magic for now. So let's try not to run into any trouble we can't handle." Whispered Kyra. "I am going to try and rest if you don't mind."
"Certainly, I will do my best to stay out of harms way so that you can regain your strength."
Lord Ragoul motion the three young women to exit his bed chambers when he heard the sounds of the alarm. All three of them rushed out of the room without hesitation leaving behind their clothes. They knew all too well what would happen if they were to try and dress themselves before leaving. To them their lives were more important than their dignity. Lord Ragoul got out of bed and wrapped a robe around himself and headed towards the throne room. When he had arrived Ragnor and the officers of the army were already there waiting for him. If anyone showed up after Lord Ragoul they would be executed.
"Why have the alarms been sounded?" Asked Lord Ragoul as he sat down on the throne.
Ragnor stepped closer. "It has come to my attention master that one of the slaves in the dungeon has escaped."
Ragoul looked the room over as he scanned through the men that occupied the room with him before asking what he already knew. "And which slave is it that has escaped?"
The room was dead silent. No one wanted to say who it was. There was no mistaking the fear in the men's eyes as they waited for the one who would speak.
"Well, who was it?" Ragoul asked again calmly.
"The young blonde haired woman." One of the soldiers finally mustered the courage to say.
"Is that so?" Replied Ragoul. "You there. What is your name?" He asked, motioning to the man who spoke.
The man hesitated for a moment before responding. "Jackson, the name is Jackson master."
"Thank you Jackson. Thank you for answering my question. Please come forward."
The man walked up and stood in front of Lord Ragoul.
"Do you know how this woman had escaped?" Ragoul asked.
"Not personally no. I heard she used some kind of magic to cloak herself. Turning herself invisible sir." The man replied, clearly trembling with fear.
"I see. Well, that is unfortunate." Ragoul said while rubbing his chin.
"She appeared as a naked woman, sir." Another soldier in the back of the room blurted out.
"Ah, thank you for the insight. And who are you?" Asked Ragoul as he looked to the man who had interrupted.
Before the man could respond Ragoul waved him off. "No need for your name. Please come forward."
As the man was walking forward Ragoul stood up and cast a hand in the man's direction instantly engulfing him in flames. The man screamed and yelled as he begun to burn alive. The other soldiers stepped back away from the man in hopes to not get caught in the flames.
