~The Day Before~
Lord Ragoul looked to his trusted advisor. "Are you positive?"
Ragnor knew that it would anger, his master knowing that the curse had been broken. He would also be upset to learn that there is not only one but two Necrons alive. But to find out that he had them both in custody and they had escaped would be a punishment he was not willing to face. So he decided to leave that part out.
"Yes, I am positive. I had seen it with my own eyes. I would of done something, then if we hadn't been attacked by the Lich. I lost most of my soldiers and barely escaped with my own life."
Ragnor watched his master closely as he mulled over the news he had just told him. Lord Ragoul was a handsome man. He had short blond hair and hazel eyes. His beard and mustache were neatly trimmed to perfection. His muscles were just the right size, adding to the beauty he possessed. The man could have pretty much any woman he wanted with just his looks alone. But unfortunately he was an angry tyrant and wanted power. And when he was upset he would not hesitate to torture you to death.
"Shall I send an army of soldier's after them?" Asked Ragnor.
Ragoul looked up. "No, that will not be necessary. I have an idea. If what you say is true, I want answers first."
"Yes, master, what is your plan?"
"Call for Enigma at once."
"The shapeshifter?" Ragnor questioned.
A few seconds later a smile found its way to his lips. "Right away master!"
~Present Day Hours Ago~
Solana glanced to Adal and noticed he had fallen asleep. She decided to let him sleep since it had been a while from the time she had seen the shadow. She was also very tired, but forced herself to stay awake to keep watch. Besides, it was getting close to daylight. Soon everyone would be awake and they would head to Adal's place and she could get her rest there.
As she fought herself to stay awake, she noticed someone walking towards her in the distance. She squinted her eyes, trying to focus on who it was but it was still too dark for the features to be recognizable. She grabbed her bow and was about to pull an arrow out of her quiver when she spotted who it was. Her eyes went big and her mouth dropped open when she saw the woman.
"What the hell." Solana whispered.
The woman raised her hands slowly and softly said. "Sleep. Sleep."
"Solana fought with all she had to stay conscious. She tried to nock and arrow, but it was too late, the blackness had taken over and she had collapsed to the ground and was fast asleep.
~Now~
They finally made their way to Adal's home. When they entered the small cave it looked the same as it did when he and Adal left days before Martin thought.
"You said there would be room for all of us and we wouldn't have to crouch. Why did we come in here?" Asked Martin.
"Patience. Patience, my boy." Replied Adal.
Adal walked over to a corner in the small cave, and walked right through a wall.
"In here." He yelled back to the others.
"Would you look at that." Said Jakusai.
As they all walked through the wall, they entered a large room. It was three times the size of the room they were just in and four times as high. Martin was in awe at what he saw. Not only was this room so much bigger it was filled with hundreds, maybe thousands of scrolls and books. Old dusty shelves lined the walls all around filled completely with literature of some sort. There was a large table in the center of the room with open books and scrolls scattered over it. Candles were placed in small holders, hanging from the walls between the shelves. There were strange tapestries of what looked to be places of the land hanging high above. A small fireplace sat centered in the back wall of the cozy looking room. There were blankets and stools cluttered in a corner. Probably for when guests were present.
