Bambi POV
I'm actually happy I said yes to letting Alex be my baby's father. Maybe it was because he was in such a bad place, or maybe I really wished that in some light this was Alex's child. He gave me a long stare before slowly leaning in and placing a juicy kiss to my lips. I didn't know what to do except go with the flow. I couldn't go too far because that's what got me here in the first place. We pulled away and he pulled me to him laying his head on my stomach.
I heard light snores and looked down to see him sleeping. How ironic is this. I smiled playing with his hair and dropped my head onto my pillow. I was in a deep sleep when I heard Alex's phone ringing. I tapped his shoulder lightly and he groaned rolling over, gripping my sides, making me gasp. He slightly chuckled and fell back to sleep, ignoring the very concerned caller.
"Alex your phone is ringing!" I called out and he groaned snuggling closer into me.
"Answer it." He replied groggily, sleep lacing his words. I nodded, reaching my arm out to the night stand on the left side of the room. I picked up his ringing phone placing it to my ear and speaking into it.
"Hello," I spoke into the receiver. It was silent besides the breathing of the other person.
"Who the hell is this," I heard a loud female's voice scream through the phone.
"This is Bambi who is this?" I asked clearly annoyed that my sleep was being jeopardized over nonsense. I heard a long, and irritated sigh then the loud chewing of gum.
"Well whatever Bamboo, tell Major that Nicole called," She said before I heard the click of the receiver. I guess she was calling for an all nighter because it's three O'clock and these are booty call hours. Alex lifted up and looked into my eyes.
"Who was it?" He asked reaching for his phone. I shrugged my shoulders, and layed down.
"Nicole." I said nonchalantly. It didn't bother me because whatever he did before me was none of my business. I opened my eyes to see him staring at me.
"Look I'm sorry," He apologized.
"Alex it's fine. Whatever you did in the past is none of my business. Besides we're not together." I said understanding that he got the point. He looked unsure and just nodded.
Major POV
It did kind of hurt when she said that. I knew we weren't together, but I thought we were becoming something. I know we going to be together one day so I'm not stressing it. I nodded and layed my head back down on her stomach and rubbed it.
"You know this is going to be a boy right," I informed her. She smirked and shrugged.
"I guess," She muttered lowly. I shook my head. I know this is a boy.
"There's no need for guessing because I assure you this is going to be a little boy," I said, and she nodded her head.
"Well I don't care what the gender is, I'm going to love them just the same," She said. I knew she was going to be a good mother. Even though she hadn't started off being ready, she was doing what she had to do now, and I respected that to the absolute fullest. I leaned up and kissed her. It's way too early for love but what is this?
Bambi POV
1 Month Later
Life at the club has been good. I was getting paid good amounts of money and didn't have to work every day. I sat in the audience of the club as Malaya came on stage. Me and Malaya had become close over the short period of time I had been here. She walked from behind the shimmering pink curtain as Throwback by B.o.B and Chris Brown came on.
She was one of the best dancers in the club. Her and Alasia made the club what it is today. Me and Alasia don't really talk because she's always so busy. Whenever she came, she would make her money and leave to take care of her kids. She had two sons. They looked just like their father but they had no recollection of him because he died when they were eight months old. Malaya made her set count and she smirked at me while she danced.
When you look at it from an outsiders point of view you would think we were just grimy, but we all have a story. Malaya finished her set and collected her money. I saw Alex come back from the office and headed my way with my bag in his hand. He walked up with a smile and gave me a hug before pulling back and giving me a kiss.
I wasn't sure what we were because we're just going with it as of now. He handed me my bag with my overnight clothes. I was going to have a girls night with Malaya. He kissed my lips tenderly and the clearing of someone's throat pulled us apart. Malaya stood there with her eyebrows raised. I smiled and grabbed my bag from Alex.
"I'll see you when you get home," He said, and I nodded. I've barely left the house and I'm happy I didn't. This could be a good thing for me. He could be a good thing for me.
