Chapter 25

Bambi POV

I woke up and looked over at Darrian who's head layed softly on my chest and his right hand sat on my stomach. I smiled down at him. He was so different from when we met. He was adoring and admirable. I played with his hair before looking up at the ceiling.

Thank God for my mom kicking me out. I might not be proud of how I got here, but I'm proud of the person I've become. I have a dad and a brother. I have a loving father for my son and I cared for all three of them. For once I had a family.

"Are you okay?" He groaned asking as he lifted his head. I nodded and smiled down at him.

"Yeah, I'm good." I said and he smiled softly.

"What's going on with you?" He asked and I laughed softly.

"You're different then before. Last time you just sped through it, but last night you took your time, and you were gentle. I liked it." I said and he nodded.

"It's becaude I love you." He said and I nodded until I realized what he'd said.

"You love me?" I asked and he grabbed my face into his hands and kissed my lips with a burning passion.

"Does that answer your question?" He asked rhetorically and I nodded. I softly pecked his lips and smiled. It had only been a short amount of time, but I knew how I felt. When I was with Alex I thought his kisses were amazing, but when I kiss Darrian I know how much different it is. I notice how much my heart has went in another direction; Darrian's direction. I knew where my heart was, and it was with him.

"I love you too." I said and he smiled softly.

"We should do something today." He suggested and I nodded.

"Something like what babe?" I asked and he smiled warmly as he shrugged his shoulders.

"Doesn't matter, as long as I'm with you I'll be fine." I definitely made the right choice.

"Thanks for taking me out babe." I said and he nodded placing his arms around my waist, and gripping my stomach softly. We came to the movies and recreated our first date. It went much better than the first one.

"It's no problem, I'll do anything for you." He said and I smiled. 

"Babe I have to use the bathroom, I'll be right back." I said and he nodded as I walked over to the restrooms to handle my business. After washing my hands, I dried them off with paper towel and walked back to where Darrian was. As I walked I glanced behind him seeing Alex and his baby's mother. He stared up at me sympathetically and I raised an eyebrow. Was I supposed to be feeling some type of pain? I could see him saying something in his ear, but turned away as Darrian came up to me and I smiled latching onto his arm tightly. He looked down at me with concern in his eyes.

"You okay?" He asked and I nodded. He pecked my lips softly and I motioned my head towards the door.

"Let's get out of here." I said and he nodded walking beside me.
