Bambi POV
It's been a couple of months since I've had Darius and my life was doing smooth sailing. Me and Darrian had gotten engaged and I'd recently met his parents. They accepted me with open arms and for that I was greatful. I picked up Darius and rocked him slowly as I heard the doorbell ring.
"Babe could you get that?" Darrian yelled from the bathroom. I kissed Darius' forehead laying him back in his crib, and started to walk downstairs. I opened the front door and my eyes opened a bit wider in surprise.
"Hey, how have you been?" I asked as he looked me up and down.
"I've been good, taking care of my son." He said and I laughed nodding my head.
"Yeah, I know what you mean." I said quietly. It was silent for a while.
"Wow, that's a nice ring." He said and I clasped my hands together.
"Thanks." I said and he nodded.
"I actually came to apologize to you. For everything." He said.
"Oh, thanks." I said and he nodded. I heard gentle cries and glanced up at the steps.
"Well it was great seeing you again, but I have to go." I said and he nodded.
"See you around." He said softly and I smiled before closing the door. I walked upstairs and Darrian came out of the bathroom just as I picked Darius up. His hands wrapped around my waist and he put his chin in the crook of my neck.
"Who was at the door?" He asked and I shook my head.
"Just the mailman, nothing major." I said and he nodded. I held Darius closer as Darrian kissed my cheek.
"Mommy loves you. I always have, I always will." I whispered softly as I layed him back down.

Darrian held me tighter as we layed down in our bed. I leaned back into him as he placed a kiss onto the nape of my neck. I laughed a little and sighed smiling.
"You know, at one point of time, I hated you." I admitted and he gasped placing his hands over his heart. I laughed and he shortly joined in.
"Yeah, after I thought it over for a while, I hated myself too. Then I finally decided to make things right." He said and I smiled. I loved the man that he became.
"I love you." I said. He gently pecked my lips and looked into my eyes.
"Not nearly as much as I love you."
