Yo, okay so, first of all thanks for 600+ reads. That's a lot and I'm genuinely surprised that many people have read this and a good portion of you are still reading, so thanks again. Second, I've been trying to make edits of Ansel and Hadley and I've been failing miserably, so if any of you know any good apps or programs or whatever to make edits and can give me some tips I'd really appreciate it! Just message me or comment on a chapter. Also, should I name songs for certain parts of the story, like songs that go with the specific situation or chapter, you know? Music really helps me write the chapters so I thought the songs I listen to would give you guys better ideas of how Hadley's feeling? I don't know, just let me know if that'd be something cool or whatever that I could do.

Sophie came tip toeing down the stairs. I wasn't sure what she was trying to do, we could clearly see her. I slid off Ansel's lap onto the other side of the couch. Sophie strolled into the kitchen and began making coffee like she didn't just walk in on her brother making out with a girl.

"Um, do you mind?" Ansel said.

"Hm?" she looked at us. Ansel reached for his shirt and pulled it back over his head. She had large, mauve bags beneath her eyes, and she no longer looked like the hot, sophistacted woman I met a week ago. She wore a baggy sweatshirt and sweatpants and her hair was tied in a knot on the back of her head.

"Are you okay?" I asked her as the coffee began to trickle into her cup.

"Me? Yeah, yeah I'm fine, just stress, you know? Well, you probably don't-"The machine beeped and she removed her cup and took a sip. "I'm gonna..." she trailed off and went back up the stairs.

Ansel and I looked at each other. "She's staying here?" I asked him.

"Yeah, to be with Peach, I guess."

"It didn't seem like she really wanted her here," I said.

"She doesn't."

"So why is she here-"

"Stop asking so many questions." Ansel pulled me to him, but I wanted to know.

"I heard you fighting with her this morning, about her needing money?"

He sighed. "Hadley..."

"Just tell me."

"Apparently, dad took her money too when he stole that money from his company. I have a trust fund, she blew hers. Now she thinks she can come here, broke, and ask me for my money."

"So you're not gonna give her any?"

"I'll probably have to. The only reason she's staying with us is because Peach is probably gonna go soon and she thinks if she gets close to her again she'll add her in her will."

"So Peach is loaded, huh?"

"Yeah, kinda, our grandpa had the first grocery store in the County or something."

"That's kinda cool. Are you in her will?"

"Yeah. There's no way she'll add Sophie in it, though..."

"Why does she hate her so much?"

"Well, I'm sure you've noticed that Sophie's a bitch."

I laughed and nodded.

"Well, that, and she got-"he dropped his voice a few octaves, "pregnant when she was 18, by some younger guy, and she came to Peach for help, asked her to take it, an eighty four year old woman taking care of a baby. I swear she was high when she asked her, anyway Peach said she obviously wasn't qualified and that she should get an abortion because she was too young, so she did, or so she told us. I knew better though. She carried that baby, she gained weight everywhere and everything, she was more moody and stuff. I'm sure my parents knew too, they just pretended they didn't so they didn't have to do anything about it. I assume she had it and gave it up for adoption, cause one weekend she came home from a friend's house and wasn't fat anymore."

"Wow. Did she tell the guy who got her knocked up?"

"Doubt it. A few weeks later she got a job as a photographer for the New York Times and moved out."

"So you lived in New York, but what- your dad grew up here?"

"Yeah, he's Peach's son, he moved to New York when he was 18 and met mom and I'm sure you know what happened after that, the birds and bees shit."

I laughed again. "Yeah."

"You're so freaking cute." He smiled. God, that smile. He could make any girl melt with just one flash of it.

"I wanna meet you're insane, embarrassing family."

"Insane, yes, embarrassing, not really; my brother's the only sane one, to be honest."

"What's he like?"

"He's your age, he's cool, used to be screwed up but isn't anymore. I think you two would get along. He likes basketball and you're tall so..."

"So you assume I like basketball?" He laughed. "You assume correctly."

"You should join the basketball team when school starts, my brother plays, so does Dung, and..."

"And?"

"Jonathan..."

Ansel scowled, then smiled again. "I'll think about it." He winked at me.

"OH MY GOD." I flung myself back against the couch. "I think I just had my first orgasm."

He cackled. "What?" he said, still laughing.

"Nothing, I didn't really mean to say that out loud."

My phone buzzed.

Mom: Come home.

"The warden says it's time to turn in."

"Can I see you tomorrow?"

"Why, of course."

I winked at him and walked outside, across the yard, and into my house. I shut the front door and leaned against it, trying to contain a laugh, more like a scream.

This guy.

God dammit.

I really liked him.

DO NOT SCREW THIS UP, AGAIN.
